Have to say i wasnt expecting this down move. News related for sure. Personally i dont see anything technical to support it. Meh... i was already planning on loading longs in 1 hr.

LOL. There is no way the Eurozone is going to have a plan that actually solves anything.

I think the market is just hoping for some free money and temporary relief.

In my view do not follow the news, follow the candles, that is our edge.

I dont really listen to the news but I live in California and staying up all night to trade has been rough without something to keep me going haha.. Plus i enjoy being world aware. Honestly I do not use the news in my trading other then knowing when things like nfp are and what not.

I'm holding my short position and hoping this is the start of a 1500+ pip downtrend for EUR/JPY (mirroring its behavior in 2010, when the eurozone first started taking the spotlight).

This year has been pretty sideways on the long-term charts, so it's long overdue for a steep fall that hopefully lasts to the end of the year.

The fact that the central banks' actions on Wednesday failed to do much of anything to the market past the INITIAL reaction proves that investors are not as stupid as they hope.

Most investors are NOT going to be impressed with whatever pointless, band-aid solution the ECB may or may not reveal at the end of the week ... something that would only serve to further deny the inevitable truth.

Does any1 have a decent news feed? If so, at what time did u receive this?
'Bundesbank is against using new IMF funding directly for EFSF and US wont participate in boosting IMF funds'. I got it at 14 mins (!) after 09.00! After the 1st red candle on M15 closed. So that wasnt very helpful.
