It's more simple than that - I would try not to take the risk in the first place

but I will try to accept the risk if the set-up is according to my method - I'm not saying it's easy and there are usually pips left on the table - but you have to accept the risk , psychologically

confidence in your method , knowing your own risk tolerance and knowing the instrument are all key to this. That's the bit that takes time , imo

uk seems to be top dog yet gbpusd pair only 360billion

I hedged and traded multiple timeframes (both long and short simultaneously) all this week. Not always do I hedge or trade in that manner but it is a useful tool. Some people are not able to multitask or think beyond a single plane/dimension.

Having said that though, if you cant trade without hedging...dont even bother trying to hedge your positions because you will lose it all.

BTW you might want to Brush up on reading comprehension, what i have seen Cloggie say is the , currently the price is news driven, see this week for example. He also says (a lot) that he looks for situations when the news aligns with the technical.
