It's not perfect, guys (yet!) but if I've had a gap in data reloading (Ctrl+r) has sorted it out. I've had no spikes though and I'm on the same build as you, Jim.

I think you're the lucky one, Jim!

I've tried everything- reloading, deleting and clearing the cache, removing eurusd and loading it again, all on the real feed, but it's still exactly the same. Very odd- I'll wait and see what they have to say about it.

I don't currently use it but I just logged in and the 5m EURUSD is fine, no issues with data.

I can check more later when I get time.

Thasnk for checking, Bleek. My 5 min eurusd only goes back 3 days, and I have one massive spike down to 1.3225 last night at 22.00

Tick appears okay but time based charts show spikes.

Whoops, sorry Dave! I just spoke with them and they said they see these spikes on demo, but not on live accounts. I told them that it was not just me, and explained about the ticks being fine, and they said that you don't usually get spikes with tick data anyway. They pulled up their own live charts and couldn't see the spikes so it's tricky to fix.

Anyway they said they'd look into it and they're on the case, so hopefully things will get sorted.

Big spreads for a few seconds during nfp. Which is to be expected, of course. Anyone ran into this "untrusted markets" problem another poster had a few pages up? I asked support about this, and they would only say that when spreads blow out beyond a certain treshold, orders wont fill and that it is meant as a protection for clients. They will not disclose the treshold tho.

I'm not sure about this to be honest, it can benefit a client, but it can as well cause losses, when the market moves even further beyond a stop when it becomes trusted again, for example. But i never ran into an 'untrusted market' problem with them untill now anyways.

She also informed me that they would have plenty historical data to use for backtesting ideas within a few weeks (I wanted to know if I could use third party data within Multicharts alongside LMAX feed-cannot) and that they would be offering more native order types (stop limit). So, all good stuff if they can bring it off. Meanwhile I'm continuing trading live next week as I have the web platform up alongside to keep an eye on things. Having experienced the beauty of trading with LMAX/MC dom ladder, I just can't be bothered with anything else. It's a relief to know my search for the 'ideal' broker has potentially come to a conclusion with this combo.

Yes, I agree, they are the "ideal" broker for me too, as the execution is brilliant, but corrupt data in multicharts is completely unnacceptable. I'll be sticking to mt4 from Alpari for charts and webtrader for execution untill it's been sorted out. They did say they'd be bringing out mt4 next year, although I can't imagine the execution being as quick.

And, like you said, they are working on improvements and enhancements, so hopefully in a few months we'll all be happy bunnies!

For your information, I traded this news last week and my market order of 4 lots filled with spread of 1.8 pips. I got in with a market order and my TP got hit 1 sec later, no problems here. What was your experience? So basically LMAX supports said that your order will not get filled if the spread is too high but will get filled later once the spread gets in the normal range again? Does this happen with limit orders or market orders? I can see you can get screwed pretty badly if this happens to a market order.

Have you ever had the out of memory warning when running MC? I get it quite often on my 2G ram machine, I guess it's time to upgrade.

I don't like the MT4 platform a whole lot so I guess I'll be sticking with either MC or plain web.

Understand your concerns but I'm using tick charts and my data and execution is spot on. I figure the advantages/ risks here outweigh those 'benefits' of using MT4 /bucketshop combo, Carl

I'm using a pretty basic box (Vista 64, 2.9 amd, 6gigs, 7200drive), nothing fancy. Cost about £300 to have built. Works like a charm with MC.

Jeff, I've not had an out of memory problem, but I have 4gb ram. It's worth buying another 2gb if you're on windows 7 or vista, as it's very cheap at the moment, and will make a difference.

I have found that the charts are very slow to update when I change timeframes eg from 1hr to daily sometimes it can take as long as 2 minutes! (I told them about this last week). My internet connection is very fast, so again, it's their problem.
