Nice charts VennD. I have same views on usd/cad, looks very tempting.
So i have a really long term sell at 1.0130, very small position -- hoping it will visit atleast 1.00

5-6hrs from now ... data from both countries will be released. Both has high impact data. Consensus says ... CAD data are favouring CAD ... while USD data are favouring USD. I think ... if both will be executed with high volume , PA might dive and fly like hell.

Going to check my technicals before things get out of control ...

Hi Vennd,

12:00 GMT CAD data if good, will push down USDCAD
13:30 GMT USD data if good, will be risk on and push down USDCAD as well

Wondering how volatile tonight will be.. I was expecting the following move:
1. EurUsd to move up sharply
2. UsdCad to drop sharply
3. UsdJpy unclear

What is your expectation?

Well this is one of those moments. What happened this week has put technical long term projections...at least mine, on hold. I am not expecting this stock market rally to hold up unless there is more intervention to supplement it.
Personally I am looking for a bounce to go long again on the daily.

HandsFX , Agree on most of your analysis ... only thing ... about that UJ (Japan always likes to "manipulate"). I think we have to ask Japan what it might do next ?

USD is at its monthly high (November) and it has to struggle to follow through ...

AUD/CAD seems to be shooting up significantly, could that mean we can expect the canadian economic numbers to come out weak?

CAD and AUD are brother and sister .... how can they kill each other ?

Look at the CAD Index. It goes up ... that means CAD are going for the kill on other currencies but not going to kill AUD at the moment. Next time .. when AUD is paying its oil to Canada ... then ... at that moment ... u will see ... how fierce CAD slapping AUD.

I think right now AUD haven't pay their oil to Canada because ... EURO still owe AUD some monies on commodities ordered before .

Looking at that USD Index . Don't see there is a donkey going down the shaft ?

where should i put my stop? and do u think it will be a good trade, i am asking ur help because i saw ur trades on this pair.

its already below 1.0145...you want to short it when it gets back up there? personally i want to just wat till it hits under 1.00 and go long
