I did start at 0800 gmt, in this chart it is 0300 est. I revised it to include the open price too. By the way my daily pivot is at 3350 today, using london midnight to midnight. No more sri lanka lol.

Spot on for the pivot, and in case of you timezone you got it right, does it make sense to you do? No need to show me, you are the one that needs to look for it and trade of it.

You can see a textbook range trade there. It broke (on RRR), then it came back to test, then the US news kept it out of reentering the range, then the CB news drove it clear away.

IF you go back over my posts from this morning, you can see how I did a play by play on the whole range play based on fundies today, not on tech ( I did a bit on that 3315 test, then went back to explaining the fundies again for the rest.)

Yeah it does make sense... visually, technically.. with a push from fundys. I do pay attention to ranges and eventual breakouts like many here, just wanted to get this london range thingy sorted. Another useful tool in the box.

Yea, got to be good to the wifey. After all, they are the ones that make your world go round--not the market. Mine has put up with me for 38 years. And I her.

Unless the market is consistently irradic, I no longer use stops. I position small enough to where I ride out the market when it goes against me and add more to my position at the peaks. Sometimes I come way ahead or break even but rarely lose. Of course, there are those daffy 300-500 runs 4-5 times a year where I just have to cut my losses (but not without a 50% retrace).

I noticed that it was the SL's that contributed to most of my losses and if I would have left it alone, I would've gotten back in the green most of the time or at least I would have retraced to 50%. I think I have only had two losses this month.

You can tell there ain't a lot to trade right now, am busy poking the obvious characters. I am like a kid at times, if it smells like sh!t, looks like sh!t and acts like sh!t, I can't help myself.

But you got to be careful, poking is alright, you can't just stamp on it, that will just make a mess and it will spread all over the place.
