sold eu on heavy lock scalp.

target is old resistance.
prefreablly 3440s
up 20+ now.

will consider BE stop loss as its CT trade but seems fine so far.

I set my EA to buy at 3340 with a 50 pip trailing stop.

I've just came back home (expecting to bank some MAJOR pips) only to find my PC crashed before price went down to 3390.

Just rebooted it, opened meta trader and not only are my sells now massively in the negative to make matters worse the stupid dam trade manager has just opened my long at 3486 instead of 3340 right on the top of that fucking spike.

How can something so simple...

Don't go blaming Mt4 young man, you need backups, and your backups need backups.

Look into either VPS or cloudcomputing if you don't mind posting your stuff outside of your own domain.

If you want to keep it inhouse, you need backups and UPS's

Well, I started this morning long and left for 15 pips ... sniff. When I came back, the spike just happened. I got back in long at 1.3440, but 80% out,sl at be.

We are still around the weekly pivot, so some retracement could happen. If not, next above levels are pretty exotic, so better to wait until this day is over I guess.

Was up +52 pips for the day on my E/U trades but got caught out on my AUD/USD trade. Shorted on the 30 min dojis and thought it was a possible double top. Entered too early.

Managed to successfully wipe out my entire profits for the week.

Lesson learnt here, am going to stick to trading only 1 to 2 pairs instead of trying to be jack of all trades

But on a side note, have been diligently recording every single trade I took for the last few months. I look at it on the weekend sometimes and think, geez I'm an idiot? What the heck was that?

Take a screenshots of your entries and exits also and save them for review alongside your trade diary, you'd be surprised what you will find.

strange EA when you need it to tell where to buy ... Nevertheless I understand your issue. I have an EA running since last year, for small amounts. First 3 months are neglectable because my biggest losses happened during microsoft updated, cancelling my EA strategy ... duh
Second three months stats were fooled because of hardware problems. So after 6 months I tought I could do some stat-work (my EA runs without any intervention).

Last six months are representative for my EA, and it sucks...
The message here is: EA's are good, but keep a close eye on it

I got a bit of slippage on both ends, no requotes, did get some non-fill on subsequent orders when I started to get greedy, could not find anyone wanting to take the other side.

I've tried VPS and to be honest they are just too damn slow for manual trading. I use my PC for manual trading

The thing that annoys me is I only went out for lunch but anyhow lesson learnt, don't go for lunch lol

which way you think this will go, 3527 is a supply zone so I'm thinking we've had the bounce and it's going to sink back down, what you reckon?
