Hmm. I have been looking into his problem and if you actually tried it yourself it wouldn't work unless you saved it to another folder. I think it has something to do with the indicators involved because I have never had trouble finding a template before. I might also add that for as much as I know about forex, you never know anywhere near all of it. It is alot of work to run a thread properly and this is his first time trying. Be kind and give the guy a break please.

Anybody that reads X-man's posts will realize that that he tends to like to post actual trades. Current trades will illustrate better than past ones. Anyone can post trades that have already occured, and I think that he is just waiting for the markets to open so he can give real time advice.

As a full time trader, I have had the luxury of time to surf the major Forex forums, and have never lasted very long in one due to just this kind of rhetoric. Another full time trader has been kind enough to show how he survives in the chaos of the markets, and still some find it prudent to post "fluff".

After reading through this thread, most participants certainly have the desire to learn and explore what has been given them, and stay on topic. The few others are merely a waste of space.

My very best to XMan, and those willing to humble down and learn. For me, once more....I'm outta here.

I'm here now and see a lot of posts, I will be answering them by today.
Weekends I'm hardly at my PC.
By the way I have posted the template of the E/U 1 H method on post 1. (if you have any problems with the template let me know)
The 4H method will also be posted soon all thanks to lazy lobster.

i always confuse to work with TDI. On Big E thread, he said, when we see a cross on TDI, just enter it as long as the candle show the same color and it's still on 1st or 2nd candle.

But what happen latter is that, when the candle close, the TDI change do not cross anymore. Mostly I've been trapped here. So how is that working on your strategy here? When we see a TFI cross, we do not enter until the candle close and the TDI will not change to un-cross again, isn't it?

Could you please elaborate more on what you mean?
Remember that no one can predict what PA will do next, we have to just stick to our simple system and trade it .
We will be wrong at times.
Thats why we have to get a system that has a high win rate.
Theres no system that has a 100% win rate.

My chart looks exactly like yours. I have not opened a
"long" trade yet, as the TDI hasen't fully crossed yet.

I'am watching it...looks like it's starting to pull back.
Also I trade with the SHI channel and we are very close to the
top of the channel on the 1 hour eur/usd chart.

In my mind no trade yet...

Yeah exactly, if a signal does not occur when a session opens (within the first 2 or 3 candles) i would personally wait for the NY session to start to look for my next trade . this is how i trade . Its more conservative trading because i choose the times and wont trade any other cross or bounce on the TDI beacuse i want to keep the pips i make .
However there will be a lot of other crosses on TDI so if you want to trade other crosses then you can follow the trdaing made simple thread and BIG E shows you how to do that.

Sorry for do not explain correctly, I didn't say there's a cross now on my chart, but it seems we will have it one hour later when new candle come out.
What I mean, one hour later, when the new candle open, we might have cross on TDI, but I doubt that cross will stay until the candle close.
So based on that, if we see a cross one hour from now (when new candle appear), do we enter right away, or we wait until that candle close to ensure the cross is confirmed?

Wait a bit before entering do not enter yet.
For this session i usually wait for 1 candle after the vertical line to form then ill enter because right now the market is still finding its direction.
Another thing to remember is that the highs and the lows for the day mostly happens in this session

I trade with FXDD. It looks like my vertical line at 6:00 is two hours
different than yours. My 6:00 happened two hrs ago and I see your
6:00 just happened?

So our broker times must be different? According to my forex clock
the EU market is closed but opens in 32 minutes which is 12:00
Mountain Standard time. Maybe in my time zone the verticle
line should be 8:00 and 2:00.

I set the SHI channel on the daily in the visualization settings so when i go to the 4H i see the daily channel

^ Hi snarlyjack, I'm in the same situation as you.

It works on 0800 and 1400 hrs on my chart as well.

Took me a while to adjust the times according to his chart too. (But good thing cos it led me to find out what time settings my broker is in.)

my vertical lines are in line with viocables so the any trader that is still having problems with that should set a vertical line on the 1h bar thats happening right now and every morning you set it on that very same time on your platform
