I'm at 73% so far this month and it aint over. My strategy is 2% per day but sometimes I get lucky.

But 0.5 to 4% a day is possible, without big risks, if you do not follow the crowd and like to put into a lot of work.

20% in a couple trades? Possible but less believable. It can happen sometimes tough. Or with a very tiny account.

no worries. not here to prove anything... risk i take per trade is 2%. 50 pips max sl. last trade i took was when price was dancing ar'd previous daily res at 1.3540ish, but couldn't close above the res. took partial at 3440 ish. another short at 3400ish. both trades closed ar'd 3240 area. 1st trade 30 pips sl, 2nd trade 20 pips sl.

Seriously though, I'm pretty sure the top Forex people in the World are so elite, they became millionaires after they established their system. I'm sure they still have 5-10% drawdowns over a month or two occasionally, just due to nature of FX, but they probably blow most of the funds out of the water. Just look at the "king of the micro" contests they have on FXCM.......those returns are INSANE. Risky, yes, risk adjusted....still insane.
any idea how many good trade setups we get in a week? 2 at least for me.

5% is my weekly goal. Sometimes I have that on Wednesday. Then the rest is bonus.

I think this is more reasonable and if you get that, that is a top trader result, but you have to do it not just for one month, everybody can do that, we need to do it at least for 6 month to 48 month to confirm our ability. As killer said consistency is the key, before that are just words.

So far so good, consistent since 99 weeks now, last year average 3% per week, this year 4-5% per week.
And before 2010 I didn't really keep track but profits were way lower.

none of you guys r doin it right... I shoot for 50-200% increase in my accnt per TRADE before Ill close it out

then again I do risk 12.5% or so when each position opens... to each their own I suppose
