I hope no body took a long this morning and held it ouch. I took one but I didn't like its behavior and took like a 5 pip gain. Looking for a long opportunity later today around the noon to 2pm mark and hold it into thanksgiving because with tomorrow being a bank holiday, other retail traders around the globe will probably push the pair up into the weekend artificially. Figure I try to take advantage of that. Thoughts anyone?

I agree but I wouldn't bank on it just based on history. We still need a catalyst.

I took some and I still keep them. Based on some technical patterns and also on the low volume on Friday. I still think a rebound up to 1.35 is possible by the end of the week or earlier next week. I may be wrong, but I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is, anyway.

Also, during Asian, I think China will correct a bit this dive. They have their own problems now so the last thing they need is a week EUR.

i'm going long in demo.... Solely based on this trend line support... EUR seems to be oversold to me...

ADD: i could see a good buy @ 1.3275 if this trend line broken

Even if the Euro keeps falling, at some point it will go back up for unfinished business at 1.3430

yeah, but what is a funding freeze? Does it mean that the government shut something down? If so, what? Or does it mean that people are no longer willing to put money into banks?

It's the EBA (European Banking Association) so the implication here is that there is a funding freeze between banks. They have no confidence in each other.
They will still do short term funding though. Overnight and intraweek.
