Well ... that's good ... at least we can compare charts/findings .

I can understand Erebus's chart ... but I couldn't grasp errich fx's chart . Wt does s/he ? meant ? Hi Ghost ! wt does that waves mean to you ? U/C going up or .. down ? ... or going ... both directions , possibly ? (atm ... 30m tf ... consolidation).

Anyone interested in EUR/CAD ?
I was paying attention to this pair for a long time although I did not make too many trades on this pair. I would like to say it is not a bad try to short this pair around 1.4070-4120 area. I can see this pair moves fairly sable in range and there are two reasons why I think to short it:

1. The price from late Aug (1.4300) and late Oct (1.4180) forms a slight bearish trend line and it extend to around 1.4110 for now. 1.4110 is also the upper line for 20 days Bollinger.
2. CAD dollars seems fairly strong (compare with the other currency all depreciate a lot against US dollars, CAD dollars did not drop that much). There were not much deficit problem in Canada compare with Europe and the price of crude oil seems unlikely to drop which also supports CAD dollars.

I would like to open 2 trades of EUR/CAD at 1.4070 area with sl at 1.4150. One trade will hold for a long drop and the other trade will scalp range between 3950-4070 (which i except EUR/CAD will move in this range for the rest of this week).

Get ready... 1hr and 4hr bearish divergence. gonna tank soon towards daily pvt > wkly R1 > > wkly pvt = 207 pips on the cards. 1.02162

maybe so but your going to need double or triple divergence to finally get price to turn around. the uptrend is too strong

not necessarily... I use line study break out to confirm the start of the bearish move.

BTW, the volume is there, you just can't see it cos you think the volume is for the upside, hence the reason why I'm short.

only if it were that easy dude but there is always a shake out before the move just watch if it keeps going i would look for longs

I got a guy who sends me the numbers its just a matter of my timing of entry after that.

the shake out will be the false pin high stop hunt for a reversal back the other way to trick all the peeps who think this uptrend is still valid.

Any hows, i'm confident.. if my SL gets triggered, I'll just double up next time around on the way back down

nice well u got a numbers guy how lucky! Is he taking applications? lol I always find that a hard sl way up may help while have a soft sl on close over the high. That prevents you from being stop hunted and you mist factor that into your mm

heehee, bit late now... I put my SL in cos that's what I'm willing to lose...

I can't tell you how many times I've tried to do what you suggested to try and save any further losses to find that my SL was missed by a pip or two before it tanked again...

So it's all good... 1.3k or so loss is nothing, drop in the pond bud

ah ! ... don't bother about tht entry. It's only one of the short scalpers , each targeting between +5 to +10 pips only (closed the others) ... purposely left that one for my nannies to see

Im still on the look out for " real " divergence to the downsides , in the U/C Chart.

That ... USD Index chart ... - still above the moustache ... it can just bounce up upon touching those moustaches ( see the previous examples).

So ... as long as those Sovereign banks are panic about Euro Zone matters ... esp the Asians Sovereign Banks ... or ... the emerging markets ... they might continue the USD uptrend. Projected up to 1.06XX if that is so to be happened.

Note : Im not that good at long term projections but ... pls look at my daily projections in post # 1052.
