right, daily should be the best.. real trends are in the daily TF.. but you'll get very few trades. shortening the TF, the trade count will increase more than linearly (not exponentially though) and the spread hindrance gets harder to beat. i won't anticipate the results but i'm rather skeptical. yes, it will be interesting, i will test it with real...
anybody trading anything? those who wait for pullback to go short eurusd be careful. there are signs of bullishness well visible on m1 tf since close of 1st london hour. i'm not telling we'll go up nor recommend anything (!!!), perhaps i'm totally wrong and she will smash down as i finish this post.. just take care and stick to the rules

Yes it's a good adjustment in my view. When you use a seperate chart in a doubled timeframe (1min + 2min or 5+10 ...) this histogram is a nice tool. I know most here on this thread are alergic to the 1min timeframe, my guess is that it doesn't matter that much. A chart is a chart and as long you're not shown the timeframe, you'll see it as a chart. Shorter timeframes will have more tricky movements sometimes but also generate more opportunities for the shortterm daytrader.
By using the 2min chart to plot histogram and symph spikes, you are able to filter out some whipsaw to the current timeframe that you trade of.
In the attached picture you see both indicators mentioned above in the 1min chart and in the 2min chart. The blue rectangles in the 1min chart display the pa (from histo and spikes) that could be ignored by looking at the same indicators in the 2min chart. The red vertical lines in the 1min chart show the decision/turning points where the 2min bar closes in a new color. You have to wait till the 2min closes! And, why not, it also shows some optical confirmation from the lines I draw in both the chart and the trendwave indicator.
It's a nice filter in my view and it keeps the chart clean from arrows.
