If it goes 200 pips up or 50 pips down, it won't be in a straight line. Break the 200 pip trade into three or four 50 to 60 pip trades of 1% each. If it shows a major retrace while gaining these 200 pips, chances are that you will lose only one trade on this spike. Overall balance will remain in your favor and that spike won't wash away all your profits.

Holy cr@p, we got an early race on our hands here. Incrediblle who has blown up his last 35 accounts and has never been profitable and FxBarbie who has never had a call right in his life.

This will be a close fought race today for the day's coveted award.

I for one will keep a close watch here in anaticipation.


So, Incredibble has now amassed 7V's, is that now a new standard of stupidity or just brown nosing the other muppets???? Seriously, could he really have found 7 members here who are even less intelligent than he is? Is there really such a thing, the interwebby surprises again. And I thought I had just about seen it all on this thread.......

At least I thought I had found a few more additions to the "intelligently challenged" list here, funny bit was though that 6 of 'm were already on it. So got all excited over nothing really, their own posts had already included them among the others not worth reading here. So stupidity does attract stupidity, guess it all sinks to the bottom at the same rate and the same time.

btw dx is in rising wedge into supply level and it seems to drop. bearish divergence for USD.

hi, yes i make easy 5% no leverage yet so far. taking it easy. too complicated. mixed up jumbled crap. Gann, price action, s/r, cycles, planetary cycles, a sucky elliot wave noob analysis, and thats all for me. i try look for good swings. if there aint i go scalp intraday with PA easy s/r breakout retest 50%'s fake setups etc...

You make a good point. The long upper wick on Friday's candle does cause me concern. However at this stage I am only really looking for long positions. Clearly the overnight price action has been very flat and certainly there is nothing there yet that would indicate the price action will actually move to the long side. Down on the 30 minute chart and also the 15 minute chart the default Bollinger Bands (20,2) have moved in flat and tight against the price action. The default Bollinger Bands on the 1 Hour chart are moving in with the 4 Hour chart being flat like the 30 minutes and 15 minutes chart. Possibly the best course of action might be to stand aside until the market makes some determination as to the direction it make take.

The Bollinger Bands are telling me that we may see a tight range followed by a dramatic breakout. At this stage there is nothing indicating whether that breakout may be to the long side or short side. Though having said that the price action has just dropped 30 pips and that could be the start of a move to the short side.
