Seems the yellow lines hold. For ultra bearish sentiment the real dream is now going down to test the lower yellow trendline.

Oil retested its growing trendline (in confluence with 100$ level) and headed south, indicating risk off. Crops did not improve, they slightly declined. Only metals show some non bearish daily candles, but they all look almost like dojis.

Commodities in general seem to be all headed lower (judging from my technicals). I don't have any nice stock charts right now, but it seems that stocks did not improve significantly yet.

Amazingly, EURUSD seems to be one of the assets that performed quite good. We may be going to invert the situation that took place for few weeks (as some commodities were outperforming EUR a lot - right now they may fall harder as EUR. You never know.)

Gah, back to analyse the charts for the next week after losing in poker again. What a bad gambler I am zzz

So here goes

EURUSD bottomed out at 1.34213 here's a look at the H4 which clearly shows a falling wedge (bull continuation pattern) however an attempt to break the H4 bearish trendline at 1.3606 failed and price was promptly rejected at the trendline

Looking at the M15 chart closely

1.3537 proved to be a strong resistance as price has failed time and time again to break through less the breakout last night.

Right now we're between 1.3515 and 1.3537, next level of support imo is 1.3490, a break down from this level would probably mean a continuation of bearish movement to possibly 1.3390 before another correction to the bearish trendline.

To me, it seems like the current movement favours the bulls as it's would seem that they have the upperhand in terms of trendline breaks but overall trend is bearish.

If price do break through 1.3537, I suspect we could see a retest of 1.3600

Anyway, just my 2 cents. I'm just a noob trader who just started to incorporate s/r with divergence.

There is plenty of good in helping people. It just has to be done right so you don't hurt yourself doing it. If you are willing to risk harm to yourself, make sure it's a cause worth risking everything on.

Thank you everybody (members and visitors alike) for all the positive support you have shown to EurAnalysis and to me.

In the last 2 months, EurAnalysis has become a favorite among serious traders who are more interested in learning and sharing than in showcasing their ego.

Unfortunately we will always have those elements who take pleasure in spoiling it for others, and that is why I made an amendment to the rules. We live and learn. Therefore, if such an unfortunate event takes place again, I will not be so polite and forgiving and the culprits will be blocked immediately.

The last event cost me the short opportunity I was waiting for at 1.3605 because I was distracted trying to calm down the situation instead of what I should have done (cut them loose immediately)

Anyway. Time to move forward and leave the past in the past. Let us relish what we have all built here together and forget those who have tried to distract us from our objectives.

There is very interesting information contained in this link about Germany and it's plans to deal with the present crisis. Whether it happens or not understanding the thinking involved at least gives us an insight into possible actions.

I wish everyone a nice weekend. In Montreal there is the Santa Claus parade at 11:00 AM EST and the last day of the Montreal Investment Conference between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM put on by Cambridge House. The speakers yesterday were extremely informative and I will post a brief summary on Sunday of the consensus view of events to unfold in their opinion in the future.

This really is a great thread, as a watcher rather than a poster I was pretty shocked to see what was happening on Friday. Don't call it Freaky Friday for nothing......
