That´s not going to happen. The Inflationphobic Germans would never allow it. The end result will most likely be an exit from the euro by the peripheral countries, including Spain and maybe Italy. The Euro will remain a northern economies currency. I have to say this would benefit me, since the Spanish Peseta would probably be devalued solidly and I make my money in the US in dollars, which will go a long way in a devalued Peseta Spain. Now, come on... Am I thinking selfishly here? Shameful...
I am in the same boat. My IT income is in CAD so a return to a devalued Maltese Lira will benefit me also. Although the Lira was very strong before they adopted the Euro. I believe it was $3.75 per Lira

My three profitable scalp trades in the past 2 hours where all shorted on the R1 resistance pivot. The fact that PA is having so much trouble breaking R1, tells me that the drop will be swift and powerful when it arrives.
I too have been selling this nice ~40 pip range ~the R1 level and have just closed my last as it finally broke and hit my wider target at the Daily Pivot - a profitable afternoon and so I've just opened a nice bottle of Viña Pomal as my just reward

couldn't agree more, gently touched - and put to green for a short second, good for psychological approach - one of my shorts, the one at 1.3475, let's hope it will keep going like this.
Any thoughts on the fact that this is happening on the NY session and not on London?
Okay jokes aside. In a nutshell, there was a huge battle going on at 1.3525 and the bulls (Probably CBs) finally gave up. I don't think it had anything to do with what session we are in.

Jokes aside too, thanks for the info, looks like it's going to go down for a while. It may even hit my 1.3380 target for my two longer term shorts, who knows?...
