THV3 is cleaner, easier to modify for your tastes as far as colors, etc.
This is exactly how I scalp everyday!
I'm so sick of getting stopped out of swing and intraday positions by spikes I'm looking to just scalp off the 5 minute. I think this choppy crap is going to go on for years with europe unable to get 17 countries to agree to the same thing, US interest rates in the dumper and Japan and Switzerland spiking the ball.
I've tweaked the THV 4 colors where I like them.
Started with the 1 THV4 MTF template
Deleted
- Both V4 MTF Trix indicators
Added
- SonicR FFCal Headlines (Black)
- 5 SMA
- 10 SMA
Changed colors and turned some of the alerts off and a few things on. Got rid of the H4 chart on the Stratman_MiniChart_v12 but didn't mess with the basic settings of the trix, coral or MTF cloud other than color and alert settings.

Hmm, do you need the system a at all? You seem to be always opening your positions before THV gives the signal
It actually is a great tool to teach you to see divergence on any chart with any indie. Also you will notice the trix at bottom is similar to Rod's MA cross system, except THV uses HA candles, modified Ichimoku Kinko Hyo cloud, coral MA, and trix indicator at bottom has lines to denote bull/bear and oversold and overbought areas.

It is comforting to get confirmation. If it blows up before painting, I can scream doodoo and drop trade with little loss!

Following after entry on 5mTF, trade improves as higher timeframes start showing same as lower.
Chart is 15m TF
THV3 Info panel is attached also PK
I'm finding THV to be an extremely powerful visual aid. I like the 5 minute TF too. Gives you enough time to make a samich, hit the head or grab a smoke between candle closes. LOL
+$558 (55.8 pips with 1 standard lot) so far on the demo today with E$ and A$. Still have an E$ short running right now.

I was attempting to do the same, but she got higher and blew off my position. If I entered 15 mins later I would be in a nice profit now. But there is my underwater trade at 1.35 that is getting up from being sunk, so I don't complain.
ADD: hah just noticed that 1.35 is accidentaly put on pivot S1. Pretty poor location...

That is why this thread is so great. We get to share our strategies and maybe improve how we trade.
However, all newbies must learn money management, trading without emotion as much as possible, and remember always to pay forward what you learn, as a gift has no value unless shared!
