Thanks PK, the worst part is that they smashed everything too. Now the shop will be out of commission until repairs are completed and it's gonna mess up the xmas shopping season. There is no insurance coverage for loss of business, only replacement of goods with a huge deductible.
Police say it was a pro job but I disagree. Pros would have no reason to smash things. They just take the valuable stuff and leave. However the culprits had to make it through very thick iron bars and thick security doors.. so yes, that part was very pro.

I tried, but couldn't stay away from real market... So, started the process with 0.1 lots... Since i have no idea what financial markets are all about, i ain't sure how to start with ... Now i am in learning a few tech. indicators like FIB, bollinger...

Any suggestions from your side??? i mean, if you could help with aleast some tips....

1. Learn to identify a trend...
2. master S/R -- there is a an excellent thread on FF called "trading with deadly accuracy". It is the best I have seen.
3. Learn how to read price action. My favorite is a book by Al Brooks... other people suggest that it is a bit complex.
4. Learn what all the different lines are on everybody's charts (this is technical analysis)
5. Master entries
6. Master exits

We all know that lack of retracement is totally your fault . Admit it, you were taking a walk when EUR went to 1.35, and when you returned you pushed it lower again

About the oil, I must say that 100 was broken violently, so as PT says, just wait for pullback And, EUR seems to be unable to go higher as Tom shorts it over and over again, so who knows, maybe pessimistic EUR will drag oil down a bit.

Here is one of my methods once I identify a trend from a large time frame. It works very well.
Read it and then try it with historical data.

I know it was meant for someone else, but I have hoardes. Dont even know where to start.

So 1) You are right, nothing equals real market. But why dont you start with 0,01 lots?

2nd) indicators
That is a long part. babypips is a great site for overall knowledge of indicators. As a main indicators to learn I recommend MACD, Stochastic and types of candles. That should do for start.

I know almost all the indicators, but I dont use any of them. Just S/R for me.

Anyway, try to learn the basics and if you want me to expand on any indicator, feel free to ask.

I think a lot members at FF really underestimate market - the time not come yet - I think some of you should follow how PT trade - Enter your position with each valid reason behind it - You may passes this time but I can guarantee that you wont be pass next time - I've seen this a lot - member comes and Go each day,month and year - Keep enter your Buy/Sell Button Simply will kill your account sooner or later

u dont buy on green or red candles for no reason. a break of s/r isnt even entry reason.

Well I am short the US$ I'm pushing it for him....... But against the Swissy and the Loonie since late last night off the daily chart,....... not touching the Euro today.

And i have heard someone around me telling we could adjust fib for a swing to match the retracements... i mean, after you draw a fib and the market did not follow exactly, adjust the fib to the place where market have reacted ... is it a correct way???

Hey frnd, i believe the thread is for everyone around here who considers trading seriously... I do feel happy for responses from you guys and i believe that is the way of learning...

Babypips is really a good website... I have started with the school

And thank you for suggesting the indicators....I know there are hell lot of indicators... I actually want to learn which i can easily understand and try keeping my strategy to be a simple one (ofcourse an effective one too)... I can understand it will take time...

Page 666 Seems Tom got tired with shorting, as the EUR seems to be trying to make it higher. Gonna place some nice sell limits when I come back. But I think that I will 'risk' not adding to my position by setting the limit higher, rather than setting sell limit lower and risking to get too deep underwater. Btw, last gold long got stopped (probably). I will count everything when I will be back at home, but seems in general It was not a bad day.

Yes and no.

I do look for bounces where market has reacted to line up with the levels but that could become a bit misguided.
Traders use fibo lines in more ways than one.
So what you need to do is use the proper method of drawing from high to low or low to high and if it does not line up with bounce points, draw another fib that lines up, but follow both of them.
