That wouldnt be sound advice, especially when you yourself claim to be a pro trader. Forex is a great source of secondary income (and primary for others). What you can do is advice against using funds they cant afford to lose and to learn the markets first and then practice with a micro/nano account first. I dont believe in demo trading, everyone makes money in demo! lol

i'm not a pro. i'm just working... and also have an account... there are many more pros.

but i do agree with what you said. beginners shld do exactly what you mention. that will ensure their survivability. and if u manage to stay in the game long enough. have a chance to learn from the markets.

and i think start with equity first. to me, it is easier compared with other asset in a certain way.

I do not have specific targets though.
I use Equity Markets to gauge sentiment.
Also for now i see some dollar strength since yesterday coming into the picture.

Short term, keep it on the short side while equities are in the red.
It is really all about the euro crisis sentiment.

Yeah , i holding shorts from 1.5980 and am thinking about 5770 as a target from what i see on my charts .

Not going to bounce a lot here. We got German/EU news coming in and quite a few auction results in the next half hour that will drive this pair further for the day.

Eyes still on FI, that's where your entries still come from as the case has been all week.

FYI, I did the same here, awaiting the next bit of fundie news. Let's see if the ECB is going to show up, that will be the only saviour for those attempting to buy this as it has been all week.

For those trading Cable on the back of the CPI earlier, eyes on Bunds to judge the safe haven status of the second half to see how deep that one can fall. She's done just about what the Sterling half can do, the second half will now take over a bit here.

EU is still driven by both halfs, that's why there is such a prominent trend here, cr@p news out of the EU auctions/spreads coupled with a flight to safety, a double whammy.

Slightly softer across the board. For those trading EC, eyes on there as some of the numbers today could well see them increasing the peg.

Now let's see the auctions and the ECB action to give us the second leg of London. We are in the consolidation phase, can the ECB reverse this or are we going to continue, everyone is keeping an eye on them to see what the signal is going to be, then we got another no brainer setup here. Don't go anticipating now, you hear. Be fat, dumb and stupid, just follow the crowd.

Another H1 closed below support zone. I am looking down to 3495 for a bounce. There is a weak support at 3523 which could provide a bonce as well since we are going down for quite some time now.

They are supposed to reabsorb liquidity from SMP operations pretty soon. That could provide that bounce.
