Intervention seems very unlikely at these levels. Unless it starts edging higher later today, then I doubt we'll see 77.5 again. Personally, I'm short @77 sl 77.1

no one can predict the price and never say never or i doubt this or doubt that

i think and as stated by japanese officials that they we targeting 80 in last weeks intervention , that they will have another go at 80 either later this week or begining of next week so hold on for the jackpot and trade safe

Is there any chatter to suggest that they're going to have another go? I understand that previous interventions were mainly one-off affairs?

They will need to cross 80 and above for sentiment to even think about changing. And it has to be some time soon before it goes low again and this will be another failed attempt. If they follow the CHF, it should have another large push again. Lets hope they don't get caught sleeping.

Hey there foo, JPY is too strong for the Japanese liking and the only reason that BOJ intervene the last time was due to the pressures from the exporters. Noda kept on telling the world that they are going to intervene and watch closely but never did anything till recently and he mentioned he will keep doing it until they are satisfied.

IMO won't be surprise new intervention coming up before the year ends for the exporters to clear their stocks and then a slow movement downwards again beginning of the year. For me, UJ has been like taking a bonus once in every few mths haha ... Focusing on other currencies and without u realising, it is up up and away ...

buy@ current levels

stoploss @75.50 (break of low)

first target @80.50

long target @97.65

yes its long ,but if usdjpy breaks the first target by year end you'll be surprised how fast it will reach the second target
