Hi,
Thanks to everyone for your input! Interesting thread. I am ready to test it
BTW, can you please post DIBS TriggerLines v2a (AAD Mods) or the latest one in MQ4 format please? It looks like a great tool and I'd like to be able to compile it in case of some major changes in MT platform later on the track .

trade the hot hand pairs only...meaning the ones that are trending big time (making new highs and lows), otherwise dibs will eat your account.
How do I find the hottest pairs out there? Any site posting the?

I am wondering if the candle on the chart here attached complies with the DIBS requirements, as the top is not very "inside" and the wick far extends the preceding hour's close, 6.00 GMT 21/09/2011 if I am not mistaken?

I Have been backtesting the DIBS method, i need someone to help me backtest so we can speed things up. Anyone willing to do some hard work with me, then give me a PM.

I don't want to say how wonderfull it is, but it really works.

Forgive me for my bad English, hahaha.

This method includes some spirit,such as [Toby Crabel & Larry Williams->RANGE CYCLE], and [Phantom's Rule 1 & 2->only hold the right position and only increase your size when the position is right]

And it is comfortable for the guys like me who don't like big risk big profit style which makes my heart goes up and down all the times.

In fact, this method's spirit is to accecpt lots of small losses and welcom the rare large profit and follow the trend as possibly as you can.
This was the very first method I traded 3 years ago and one of the first threads I posted on, when I first got into trading. After system hoping and trying all kinds of methods, I can look back at DIBS and really see the genius of it now.

On one hand if I would have stuck with the method and mindlessly traded it, I'd probably be in good profits today (yes, total speculation). On the other hand if I didn't system hop, read tons of books, and learn more about trading, I'd never reach a point of actually being able to appreciate the beauty of this method.

I tried it a few years ago and thought I would try again but find the whipsaws get me every time.

I'll trade a breakout and I'll get in long(or short) only to see it reverse immediately and stop me out. I never get chance to tp on half and BE on half.

Think I need to demo a bit longer I must be doing something wrong.

The key about "knowing how to trade" is mentioning some times yet in this thread. You are probably blind if you have not seen it by now.

The key is taking big win trades (very rarely) through very lot of losses (very-very often). You have to take that profitable TAILS and paid for them through numerous...

Indeed i didn't read all the posts in this thread, hahhaha, too long for me, though I think my English is not so bad to read all the posts using a second language( I'm a chinese guy,), but I have read all the posts of TRT(Joel Rensink) and PC about DIBS, I'm collecting some materials of Joel Rensink from tradersworld magazine, it is not easy for a foreigner , but its valuable to do all the things for trading, we maybe have the same ideal as a trader,hahha I have read the person you mentioned, thanks all the unselfish devotion from great traders include TRT, PC, dim4ik42, james996 ,Razor_trader ,james16, hard1head1 ,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.

I‘v backtest DIBS by manual, it's not bad. and I trade with it in Commodity futures. Hope everyone trading with DIBS to be a millionare after a sequence of trades(not a trade, hahah, be patient).

Ok, I see this is a very popular strategy. I am going to start demo account. I like the simplicity of it. I am in EST time zone. I have indicators loaded on charts and like what I see when I back view it.
