My view is that the 2:30 pm uk 5m candle was good selling on the NYSE open, so I've taken an initial sell and will see what develops....

Thought I'd share my euro trade that I've taken. Missed the move down yesterday so I waited for at least a 50% retrace, as I think PT was doing as well so I read further up the thread.

Got the 50% retrace and I dropped down to the 5 min chart and found a lovely pinbar right on the 50% fib. Nice tight 20pip stop. Stops now at BE+10, and going to run it down and see where the PA takes me.

The last hourly bar is strongly bearish. I regret that I missed that nice entry point for short. I think it will consolidate or go lower.

2 solid red candles on good volume.....but these may also contain buyers, so until / if the support area around the 61% retrace of todays action ~ 3550 is taken out I remain cautious....

Nice to see that the 5m pin / red doji at the top was noticed.....

I concur. I am still flat but itching to go short.
I may take a pass today and not trade at all. Something does not feel right. Still unfinished business at the 1.37 area

Uf. I have booked some of those shorts so I aint exposed as much as I was before. I could use a break of 3563 though.

adjusted my sell limit lower @ 1.3650 now - closed to early for 20 pips only - the next 4H seem match with 1.365 resistance

Oh snap, shorted at 1.3589, put SL at BE+2, left room came back, SL hit, dropped another 30 pips, and I am

I will lay low and count pips with running trades and look for another spot!

So it hit that support area I mention and got knocked straight back up off the 50 level , so as its now late in the European afternoon, I've banked my pips and I'm finished for the day......they'll be plenty more pips to plunder tomorrow

Maybe just a short term phenomenon.
I was looking at the 1.3715 level. But went shortly after the open.
Can always dump it if it comes back.
