Quite the NY morning move for UJ - 50 pips is no small amount. BOJ is obviously being challenged here. Will they have the guts to step up and defend? They certainly don't have a good track record. And, at this point, 50% of their intervention efforts are underwater.

indeed weekly and monthly pivot points around 77.75 should pref. hold for longs with 77.55 (50% retracement) as last resort.
not sure they will with this weak USD...

So if past behaviour is a guide for the future behaviour I would suspect that right now the BOJ is on holiday's.
To confirm that we would need a "watching closely" statement.

is EU causing this spike down , if EU reaches 387X. will USJPY hold the line ?

BOJ will interfere only when needed , not because of the effects of EU.

added more long positions , ma will act as the pendulum and price will have to kiss it soon before moving again south .

watch closely EU pair because it is going to tell u where this shit is going.

How many times have the BOJ intervened just to have the price come back down and go lower. Is this time really going to be that different? Their intervention failed to even brake many different upper trend lines. They really are a hopeless case. The only reason it's not falling faster is because they have everyone afraid of another intervention which appears to be a successful decoy. I cant say I am short though just because IF they do intervene any SL I put will most likely be filled much farther.

My point is that BoJ want make rise of yen slower, not completly reverse trend.

have a 0.025 lot long UJ at 77.63, s/l at 77.30
hourly chart looks strong bearish, let's see if 77.40-50 could provide solid support (former resistence)

Lets see if it can break support. if it breaks i am putting my stops at 77.00 in case it spikes through prefer to close it manually. trying to catch the retracement.

Still hold my short @ break Poin @ 78.00 and Stop @ 78.15 - But set BE now - If going up and 78.05 hold again today will short again
