Now i know exactly why the pro traders and the thread creators don't even come on these forums anymore or hardly visit.
If you use the system then you will realize if it works or not.
I have tested the system, I have back tested the system on many pairs , i have mastered the system by doing my homework and not just criticizing the traders that have experience and now i make over 1000 pips a month with this system with almost 80% win rate.
This thread would never be this successful if it was some kind of joke, that some traders come just to have a good laugh.
This is one of the fastest growing threads based on a trading system within a year.
I use to post my results every week to motivate the newbies which i didn't have to but by reading posts like your last 1 just puts a person off.
Anyway I wish all the TMS traders success and many pips in the future.

Another tip to the TMS traders is that if you guys do loads of back testing ( which is so so so important to mastering TMS) , just notice the synegry candle formation of the first candle at the TDI cross(select bar chart so you will be able to tell the open and close of a candle). i always enter at the opening of the second candle because i want to see how the first candle forms. If you guys master this then you will know whether to enter a trade or not( this will keep you out of many fake outs)and you wont end up entering a trade on just any TDI cross,which will give you those pips 80% of the time.

Thanks for the feedback and congrats to you on your success. Would you mind telling me which time frame you are personally using. I originally was taught to trade using the 15 minute time frame back in 2003.

This is a really good advice, I find myself losing many pips entering on the first candle when the market is ranging. Thanks

I am not trying to be arugmentative or sarcastic but I would like to know the properties/parameters of the 1st candle: large (strong), no wicks, but what else if anything. I have been burned more than once just taking the cross and not correctly diagnosing the 1st candle so any help is appreciated. thanks, p.

For my 2 pips, I am looking primarily at the candle body of the APB to be in the region of the ATR - so if the ATR is 50 pips, I am looking for 40 pips on the body - wicks will probably be there on the 1st candle. Avoid dojis like the plague! Also avoid large wicks! (subjective).

My entry is then taken from the top/bottom of the wick (+/- 5-10 pips) on the 1st candle, so this means that PA must be taking candle 2 past the entry point.

Hope that makes sense.

This has been covered by Eelfranz / dcginc / Dean / Snarly Jack / Phx62 / X-Man, etc, etc.

For charts on this topic , use the thread - find the senior members as listed above - click on their names and check out their posts - you can even look at the posts with attachements and peruse the charts - start with the most recent for best examples.

Attached are 2 charts that I like - one from Big E - black background and the second unfortunately I do not recall the member - but great information. These took me 5 minutes to locate, so I know everyone can do this with just a bit of thinking and effort.

I copy examples of charts that I like and paste them into a word doc for reference material and these also form part of my trading plans. This does mean of course that at some point in time you do need to work at this and read the thread, as opposed to waiting for the spoon feeding!

I also use these docs when training friends and family - always helps to have memory joggers.

Thanks David, much appreciated. My results the last 2 weeks, still demo, have been slightly positive ie not getting in the best trades and having to exit with little to no profit with lesser trades. My acct should be funded sometime this week but will just trade one micro until I get better results.

Looking at the H1, looks good - move your SL when you can to at least B/E or better.

This is probably picking up on some of the AUD news releases from earlier this evening

I am also wrong more often than not -

However, there is no other way to find out whether a trader is right or wrong unless he take a trade based on his plan.

Stated exit strategy is when TDI goes flat, hooks over, or crosses the signal line, and I see that the taken exit on this chart coincides with the break below the signal line. But, is there any reason not to have taken the exit I marked on the chart? The earlier one, where TDI has gone flat and PA is looking rather tired?

I may be wrong but I noticed most of the times when trader fiddle with SL while trade is developing, the price will retrace, hit the new SL and will continue moving into your direction, therefore, I don't move to BE unless the trade moves into my favor atleast equal to my SL or hit my original SL.

Just my opinion worth 2 cents.

If you look very closely at the chart (per your question) the
green line had not crossed the red line thus it could be a
bounce trade. And the average price bars were still green
and had not turned red yet. Thus Eelfranz stayed in the
trade.

Had that trade been mine I might have sold out?

I like to trade with the full TDI. So I can see where the blue volitility
bands are. Usually when the green price line goes through the
blue volitility bands price really starts cranking.
