if the gap is more than SL limit, you will lose all the pips in the gap despite SL is very small. it happened to me once, as per SL level I was supposed to lose just 50pips, but lost 120 pips because of price opened beyond the SL limit. the act is well within the regulations of the market, the broker said.

I am long EUR/GBP over the weekend but I'm quite sure that my S/L will not get hit. Because I have no S/L

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is S/L? I tried to google it, but it says it is some place in Pakistan, is it Sri Lanka?

Yeah Chicky, you are partly right. It is Sri Lanka but that's not in Pakistan.
and it is not a place, it is the Sri Lankien name for my Sugar Babe. I was just saying that I didn't use her to protect EG this weekend.

I'm trying to collect a few of them in different places over the planet.

Oh and it's raining and cold in San Diego, very rare.
And I just found out that I'm out of alcohol and with the nasty weather don't feel like going out.

I'd also be interested to see why you think UCAD long at the moment. I see a little bit of a bearish signal on my chart. I wouldn't say I expect a huge profit out of it, but I do think there's some room to move down before heading up. Recent PA is fairly bullish, but price has been getting rejected around the 1.0210x level.

I don't have it shown on the chart, but there's also some recent bearish divergence. The high has recently remained around the same levels and gone up a few pips even, while the CCI has peaked quite a bit lower than the previous high.

Not sure yet about UCAD, fact is that the daily shows higher low and higher high. Maybe the divergence will bring it a bit lower first. I'll post a chart tomorrow.

Ah okay, yeah I might actually agree that it's bullish for the longer term. Maybe if it goes down on the 4H you can build your long positions for the coming weeks

Morning , happey weekend to all .

me still in favour of bear continuation as 3871 inatct , big correctiog going on quite some time , in channel but again failed break 3871 last session with all bad news . How it can make complex without decision , eurzone nor Greece is in centre of the turmoil now can provide any good news enough to hold for months after months & so why reversal ! weekly cleary breakthough so far . correct fully the down fall start yesterday in vain & even not much it should actually test channel bottom 3704, the break out level . now bo for immediate term is 3757 around.
Apparently h4 tf in charge of the reversal attempts !! wherase it again in the making daily tf & now see daily tf , chart added .

lets see how it reacts , Greece PM won confidence vote marginally & still 2 days to make many news about , nothing good any ,except prevent catasthope now , later may free to do .

Still seeing my 9 months views , downside so far , 3805 & 3650 broken , not any confirmation though before go below 3600 .

okay . too understand why usdcad is correlated w/ euro$ just look at thew dollar index..if dollar index is rallying what does it mekan for usdcad. it eill go up right ??? and what about eu . it will go down right ?? then that way usdcad and euro$ move in the opposite direction. if euro$ goges up usdcad will do up.
As for ej . it will follow euro unless boj is influencing it..
