Nobody Cannes fix this thing. Now we may have to wait till February. In the meantime, I believe the Euro will fall. However, do we get a final push upwards first?

G-20 Fails to Agree on IMF Resources

World leaders balked at writing new checks to help bail out the euro-area, demanding its own governments first do more to fix the two-year-old debt crisis.
Global policy makers are awaiting more details of a week- old rescue package before they commit fresh cash to the International Monetary Fund which could then lend to Europe’s bailout facility, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said at the end of a Group of 20 summit in Cannes, France. French President Nicolas Sarkozy said it may take until February for a deal.

I believe the loans are for 88 days from funding.
However, the funding was not all provided at once. It is being provided on demand for the next 12 to 13 months. Therefor the first repayment would be due 88 days after 13th October and then more after that depending on when funds were advanced.

Eurozone crisis can only be addressed with political solution with financial solution.
Everyone needs an equal amount of skin in the game with chance of loss of sovereignty if actions of your country effect the health of the complete union.

Without this, Greece is just picking at the scab, and eventually when the rest of PIIGS are dealt with...........

Patient will bleed out!

Please provide me with a link to the mentioned post. I must have missed it.

As for G20, it's done. It's a dud, a flop, a non-event.
The only hope now is ECB QE1 but that would require a treaty change and Germany will not likely approve. So perhaps the solution is for Germany to exit the EuroZone and go back to the Mark or perhaps have a Neuro and Seuro.

Well if nothing decided until February, wouldn't first payment be due mid-January?

Bernanke isn't going to be well-liked if all US gets for back door QE is empty shoe box with broken Italian pumps and torn fishnet stockings from

The US loan is to ECB. They have already secured the loan with Euros.

Holy crap I got something right and it did make the pivot, which made no sense. Thus, the question is, where does it go from here?

I have closed half my long position to seek guidance and inspiration from my magic 8 ball, since clearly it knows more about investing than I do.

If this method is right, 1.38, then bias is back downwards.

This is an unwinding of this week's shorts. Nobody wants to risk holding anything over the weekend due to Greek confidence vote outcome.
Since market is already net short, this will go up not down.

Wanna borrow my magic 8 ball?

The last few weeks has really helped me understand these stupid retraces that markets feel compelled to act on, once again because everyone thinks they should but for largely no other reason.

If people were required to buy and hold the Euro for a year instead of instant liquidity, this thing would be in the tank, but they aren't, so it isn't. I am learning that it is good to understand the macro, but the moves are so big and fast and leveraged in currency trading, that you have to look at the micro so much more than I ever thought.

Right now the market wants the Euro to go higher, whatever the reason. Thus, why fight it, play the short term trades and trends, and don't try and fight it to what is essentially trying to guess a market top.

Y'all might be rubbing off on me.
