not sure what you base your projection on? it is useful to give indication of TF (15min in this case)

H1 ichimoku has a somewhat shy bullish kumo breakout and according to this a continuation is possible. first though resistance at 38509 needs to be broken (38.2 fib retracement from 4244 to 3607)

H4 is remains bearish in ichimoky while D1 remains weak bullish so all in all everything else but clear "in the bigger picture"

we will continue to remain exposed to rumors and news from greece and g20

I will keep tight MM and trade lower TFs until the outlook is more conclusive.

If we were living in a normal world, the Euro would have tanked on an interest rate cut that no one had priced in, a dovish assessment from the ECB and comments of further easing, and dare I say money printing. But, we don't live in a normal world anymore. lol

It depends on the situation. I usually trade PA on the 15m and hourly during the US session and PA on the 1m, 5m and 15m in the early Asian session. I also use pivot points in the Asian session.

Today, I added to my medium term long right before the ECB announcement, and on the 15 min dojo right after the ECB announcement. As for short term scalping, I made 7 trades today. 6 winners with 5-7 pips each and 1 loser for -3 pips. (Including spreads)

I don't know if I'm a guru, but I'll give you some feedback.

The top isn't a fake bullish move, it was just respecting the UTL.

The fact that price has stopped at the 23% retracement and is now building 5 counts just over that, should affirm your idea that there will be a second attempt to break the top, which will most likely succeed.

You have the 200 SMA on the 5 min. just under this local flag LTL which would support buying at the potential E point, which would be around 3791.

Aggressive style you could get in there, or wait for a break of the UTL.

There is however another UTL, the bigger one at around 3862. This should go without too much trouble if the first one does.

However if the local flag LTL goes and price breaks the 200SMA on the 5 min, then the upmove is invalidated and this increases the chances that the huge 5 count bearish flag will play out. I favor the bullish scenario, though I wish for the bearish one. More profits there. Upper target points to 3950.

Anyway, just my thoughts.

Yes, in addition to the UTL, the 38.2% retracement (from Thursdays highs to Tuesdays lows) lows was in there too, so there was a lot of resistance.

2046 and Stevefx thank you for your comments - much appreciated!

I dont use indicators just pure SRs, TLs, formation and candles that's all i use. However i start to respect MA 200 and h1 shows 3916 (close to 3920 SR level) which might be potential short opportunity i guess. h4 shows 3670 support level on SR and also 200MA and lower TFs including m30 (still) MA below price - means no sell yet?

good luck with your trades! i only hope to get b/e on my hedge positions

i just find there is a strong MACD bullish indication for EU on 4H chart as well as the SMA20 also shows a bullish potential.. i change my plan so i decide to put a sell limit at 1.4080 short EU tmr if it can reach there (also get the hint from Kuroro. )

A triangle is sort of forming on the 5m and 1m. We should have a breakout soon.
