That was very long winded. Makes sense and I believe you hit the nail right on the head on all points.

The CBs and governments are driving us towards sovereign bankruptcy. I have seen this coming for years and the closer it comes, the more glad I am that I trade currencies for a living and I don't depend on a full time job that may not be there tomorrow.

I enjoy watching this forum and getting lots of input. I appreciate being able to "listen in" on all the thoughts. It helps give different angles of perspective on how others look at the market. We all need that especially me cause I tend to wear a rut in the road.

Ok, I arrived home, here is a chart.

Grey zone is mofo heavy ressistance. Just look at H1 candles around 24th on the left side of chart. I dont believe it will be broken.

Unfinished business is at 1.3970/80 area but it may not make it that far.
It was Monday's broken support and price never went back up to test it as resistance. Usually that is a sign that price will re-visit in the short term. It doesn't always though.

However, even if it doesn't reach it, it has to at least make an attempt, so I wrote 1.39xx to leave the target open. In order to create a right shoulder on the daily chart, we need to see the 1.3910 area and I would be satisfied with that.

All good though. I'm still up $8.79 for the week Flat right now.

My income is my pension and we live within those modest means. I trade to be able to enjoy some of the finer things in life and leave something behind for my kids.

I was trying something new on a 5 minute chart (not Rods system)........ and it didn't work LOL. I don't test on demo. Nothing like real money to get the blood pumping.

I hear you PK. I have no pension. I only have Forex and a few small IT contracts here and there. That kind of teaches me to be diligent. As such I even get my blood pumping with solid confident trades. It's part of the rush. No pain. no gain

You still have a small IT considered very good - I'm only have forex for continue living - I hate forex but I got no choice - because I am hate business interact with human - many hidden agenda - thats why I choice forex

If given more thought to it,it makes sense since gbp/usd has been a$$ frozen to the 159-60 area this week,as usually one pair follows another in number,so its a big chance we are getting there.

I'm generally not too good with low time frame charts and scalping but it never stops me from trying new ideas for at least 30 trades.

Always go back to what I do best. Supply and demand on the 60 and 240 and try to ignore the noise.

I see an opportunity with this pair bouncing between 2 supply and demand levels I've had marked most of the week. While the stock markets are rallying. Euro futures, while up a bit, havn't rallied like stocks, oil and precious metals.

Limit order hit. Short @ 1.3825
SL 1.3876
T1 1/2 position @ 1.3757 and move SL to BE+2
T2 1/2 position @ 1.3670

Try being a student with no income and wants to do nothing but trade Forex for a living! If it doesnt go right I cannot see myself as an accountant or economist! Much prefer the thrill of the forex

Try to be a student studying 2 full courses, having a job AND trading. You will learn to squeeze the time to pack up to 48hrs in one day. + some time for sleeping . But, unfortunately, I need to find a way to readjust my timetable to be able to trade london/NY session. Cannot work less, as my employer does not like part-time... 4/5 is the absolute minimum, if you want to work for them you need to pick 4/5.

But I personally would prefer to build own company. Don't have necessary resources yet, though. So I keep trying to increase my capital every possible way.
