Don't misunderstand the effect. ECB gives money cheaper to banks. That means more liquidity in a market. Basically it will ease up situation generally.

I watch the tic chart and if it breaks my imaginary trend line then I'm out. Not sure if that's the right way to do it but it works sometimes.

Tough to say. I made some pips on way down, got burned once (even though I was right, but tight SL + premature entry done the thing), and now am watching tough fight on M1. Seems we made a higher low on M1. Still, cannot believe I didn't manage to catch my profit before it ran away... Well, few more times and I'll learn to do this well... Lots of pips were to catch, and I was close to do it well. This are the positive aspects and I will stick to them.

ADD: cancel that about "M1 higher low", that was only a noise short again, stop at BE (as usual).

So you are right in one regard it is euro negative. We are probably entering a rate reduction cycle. But this goes to show how the market dynamics have changed over the years. Three years ago we would be 200-300 pips lower on an unexpected rate cut. To because of computers, liquidity and changing fundamental priorities we are 50pips lower. To me the

You are right. If I can get 40 PIPS constantly every day then I can quit working. The problem here is constantly doing it right.

Edit: And if I can get 40 then I guess 50 pr 60 isn't that big of a deal?

My only question is how much was already priced in. Sometimes I feel the ECB surprises only surprise those outside of the banking community. The 600 pip power drive south may have had a bit more that Greece behind it.

However, it is hard to see that it will not fall quite a bit in the next few days. Right now it is stabilizing. Once it stablizes, it should start trending.

I'm happy though... I now pay less swap on my shorts...or at least I should...
