USD is clearly the winner so far today.
All PIG related futures are flat and the rest are underwater.

Hmmm. Flat PIGs

ADD: I missed the rice... up 0.1 Hmmm I thought rice had to be underwater to grow

Hourly Demand zone from 1.3973 - 1.3945. Through 1.3945 should see around 1.3920 - 1.3863 demand zone
I don't think 1.3863 is a strong demand zone..because this area under the LTL..mean the uptrend trend line will be break if 4h price close under 1.3930..

Kramer's helping on CNBC too telling basicly not to buy stocks today at the end of the month. Saying "let the funds ring the register so they can send out their statements" and the S&P board went immediatly red on the open. LOL
I don't care which way the market is going as long as it's going my way

I believe the board was just updating itself from Friday's green.

It's an area to keep an eye on though. Price has traded back and forth through that area a lot so it's likely to be a bit weak if price even gets that far.

So now that Greece has a tentative deal, the focus has shifted to Italy's debt woes further exacerbated by their last dismal bond auction.
This has to weigh on the Euro, yet it seems to be quite resilient so far.
Perhaps the giant panda is at work here... or perhaps it is related to further USD dumping.

Mind you, I would not be surprised if it keeps ranging until Wednesday, but it is still too odd to see it sideways like this. The only thing that moved it was the BOJ intervention.

I would like to see 1.3900 today.

Chicago PMI 58.4 slightly worse than expected


EDIT: Dollar getting a little lift now with $CAD leading the way and aussie and Kiwi looking a bit heavier.

Chicago PMI 58.4.. less than the 59.x expected

it does look like somebody is putting a floor under it. But then again, this is the key support/resistance of the year. It spent over 3 days toeing the other side of this particular line last week.

When it comes to news events... isn't the g20 + 2 back to back contentious rate decisions just about as big as a Euro leaders summit?

interesting to see how far the ny equities slide today. looks like europhoria is well and truly done and there are some corrections to be made.

seems like every single analyst (cnbc's version of an analyst at least) agrees the indices rallied too far after the eu summit

I would hazard a bold statement here. It's much bigger. That is why I am expecting some profit taking before Wednesday.
Anyway, regardless if some entity is trying to put a floor under it, they will eventually fail.

ADD: Regarding support, it is not at 1.40 but rather at 1.3950.

Don't forget about Non Farm Payrolls on Friday too. These are all big items as well as a lot of PMI info out this week too.

In fact, we get macro data and news bombing this week. Maybe thats why BOJ intervened just before the mayhem.

I agree with all those so called analysts Taxe.
Lucky for me, it doesn't take a PhD in economics to see all the holes in that EZ deal. It was just a bunch of hog wash. Ha ha "Hog Wash"... Good one PT
