hi mates! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekends.

So interesting to pull up my charts and find no gap. Well, all I see now is a cornered euro. 4181 and 4133 are levels I'm looking at keenly. Anyone with anything on those??? watching out for the close above the earlier or below the latter.

today's bearish man win. the lowest they can get is 3935, but if the lower the better, but not much is probably 3887. may be good news for bullish man, the highest they can on this day 4201 or 4231, then, if I can.
but if if bearish man did not close their entry last week and selling them above their means, the candle will not go far today.

For those of you unaware of why EUR/USD is getting hit, you probably know it has to do with the BoJ intervention on USD/JPY by now. However, if you don't know why that's messing with the Euro, here's why:

For the BoJ to strengthen the Yen, they buy a bunch of USD/JPY which means their essentially weakening the Yen by purchasing USD. This essentially puts their books heavily USD based and they don't want all that currency risk on one product. So, they have to get rid of it, or re-distribute the risk. They do this by selling other pairs, mostly majors (i.e. EUR/USD, GBP/USD, AUD/USD, etc.). This helps them diversify their dollar purchases into other currencies and the dollar strengthens across the board.

It's generally a temporary thing and experienced traders can fade these moves with proper money management. Ok, enough from me... back to fading ;-)

Interventions are great, except when you are sitting on the opposite side of the trade. 300 pips on the usdjpy and im sitting on the receiving end of a usdchf crushing.
