almost 98% traders both experianced and noobs got fucked up with thursday move.

The diagnosis of the year .

everybody knew the reversal attempt very strong going on with eu summit news etc , many key levels broken in strong hand suddenly , even we try at key levels some sorts of correction knowingly that may be very limited for such a strong move with a goal compiled with question of survival.

every loss trade for me , not only this week but the whole years of trading history only those for good expectations of correction where actually expectations did not come up reality or not enough , tp set little non-flexible.

So hope many or all with such experience . anyway we must try this everytime as very logical our action just with care & sl in situ.The bad did not happen again & again but extra-ordinary situation to pay attention extra-ordinary to & indulge some illogical !!

2nd bad intention was to take all movements & in all directions without sittting idle & wait & not go against rules .that are restless, impatience & breaking rules & NOT ONE WAY scalping.
That is scalping attempts are the only culprit & wave wise in corrective phase ^ setup wise in last d wave against set up .

at time not aware the news times or taking care before it .

Treament/prevention : use sl & tp always limited in any correction , try scalping only one way even in choppy market , never trade wave d in any set up and above all limit loss .habituate to take some loss trades all the time & no questions of fuck/burn with them, my all green old formula did not work perfect in every market conditions .

Hey there Geppy.... just wanted to give you some insite regarding this thread... I don't visit it often, but the times I do, it has paid off in a big way... There are certain people who post here that, actually call the wrong direction, and it has help me when I am in doubt/indecision. If I look at their posts, and if they are recommending long, I know based on past experience, to go Short. Also, when you get the majority of the various people in the thread, given the same direction, it's said that 85% to 90% of Retail Traders fail, then that I use as well. Thursday was a prime example. When I went Long on Euro during the Asian Session and road it for over 300 pips into the U.S session., it was partly, based on the majority of the people saying Short, Short, short.....

I did not trade Friday, but after reading a few post here tonight. There are some who hold over the weekend, and many are calling for Short on Euro, and some actually say they Need it to Go Short. After reading that, if we have a Gap Up on Sunday, I would not be surprise. At this point, i kind of expect it. However, either way I am in Cash right now, and will wait and see.. But wanted to let you know that this Thread, can be use as a tool, a very accurate one, if used properly.

^^^ dreed, judging by your join date and number of posts you have MUCH more trading experience than me. but you are one silly man for making trades "partly, based on the majority of people".

having said that im one of the people waiting for the euro to give signs of a drop so i can go short too. so if it keeps rallying next week then kudos to you
