limited correction so far & last leg down to decide now to go up if , short still there to close at the end, over 4109 will do for me & may start the long again. waiting .

if you have second orders below 0.999 then you could set stop loss at BE for the these trades and set tp as tp2.... tp3... it already retraced on us to around the 161%, we didnt do any mistake on this pair rather than from the overbought position at the top i expected a retrace below 61 but i cannot guess whether it would be 61, 100 or 161... so it is ok.

as for the EURUSD the 2 shorts i had were a mistake...
yeah, but i still think for your EUR/USD, there's more or less because of China agree to buy Euro bonds...
And fatpanda told me there was a rumor that a Dubai trader slept and he clicked buy EUR/USD for 1 million lots

problem is I like head and shoulders on longer term reversals at major high or low, the premise of a head and shoulders is that the larger players are trying to turn a big ship and it has to gyrate a little. On shorter time frame, I think it's less reliable. I would say watching S&P futures for short term action easier.

If equities turn positive and pop mid day, I will look for sell off into close. If we stay flat, I will stay out of shorts fearing end of day rally, waiting for euity profit taking on Monday. What futures traders are going to want to hold until monday, though.

I agree that generally short term is less reliable but from what I have seen, they are 80%+ accurate. The us opening bell has messed with them so it will be interesting to see what happens.

Party mix right now. Wedges, expanding triangles, inv H&S's all in one on 5M last 1-2 hours or so. Stepping out, totally no direction just yet.

A head and shoulders is typically a reversal pattern, not a continuation one.
