Fencing is only played with one hand.

I would say Tennis and ping pong also but you still need the other hand to handle your balls

Honestly, at this point it is probably healthy for Buma to be looking at all the different strategies out there.

The key to this word game is really the definition of an open mind. Open mind is usually considered a good thing. Open mind = ability to learn. But I used a somewhat different definition as Open mind= undiscriminating receptiveness. But in the end, it is just a word game.

But just for fun...If I defined Vipassana (insight meditation) as the ability to recognize crap, get rid of it and avoid new crap...I am pretty sure this definition would hold.

Sidestepping the balls issue, I would say that a female fencer would probably not be quite as good if you cut off the arm not holding the foil.

Talk about simple trendlines,am learn this method from of my friend In Singapore there,He is only using simple trendlines - no more no less while am still added a bit SMA to confirmed the moves

With his simple trendlines he made around $20K per month consistenly and only focus USDJPY pair,a few month ago the singapore deutsche Bank called and ask him to work for the Bank as one of the trader but he is reject the offer as Deutsche Bank only paid him the salary without any commission

Some people just do not know how much crap they have and even Vipassana would not help.

Futures looking slightly risk off with money flowing into the US$, US bonds and the Yen. Looks like risk is seeking some safety for the weekend and probably a lot of proffit taking today after such a strong bull run yesterday.

Looks like it's breaking out to the downside on the 60....... or I've screwed up and I'm selling in a bull flag.

I'm short market order @ 1.4150 with targeting 1.4045 and 1.3960 with stop @ 1.4205. Target or not I will kill this trade before the close today.


Edit: Hey Buma, I went short today, can I have my sergeant stripes back.

So my entries are never shown in the charts I post here.

general conditions.
Am rethinking this part of the methodology.

Primary trend remains deflationary. No one is able to explain that I can see how resuming the consumption debt pyramid as per CB policy is going to result in sustainable growth. Other then the CB's who think they have got it right.

We should be seeing sustainable trends, and I would think big time sustainable trends.

But we are not getting them. What keeps disrupting the basic forces in place? Never ceasing government interventions in the economy this under the guise of preventing a market unwind.

We just had QE3 by the Fed and other CB's doing the swaps with the ECB as there was a full blown run on Europes bank deposits. These are now replaced with Fed loans, to the ECB, which disbursed those funds, to replace the deposits removed by the private sector money market funds et all.

End result of QE3 is what we have now a risk rally created by a flood of liquidity.

With 20/20 hindsight I wish I had sold the peak yesterday, but think we will see some more stimulative pronouncements from upcoming CB releases.

The macro is one of ongoing crisis flareups with flights to safety, then out come the firehoses of money from CB's to douse the fire.

Macro looked at this way says a very big volatile channel is the ongoing environment.

Do we pick a hammer or a saw as the right tool. Am going to trade a volatility based method rather then trend based going forward.

Last night there was no follow through out of Asia. They just sat on their hands and took money out. Japan is in no mood to chase yield across the globe. They did not buy into the European pronouncements.

As long as the Fed is run by Bernanke who thinks he has the right to dictate the value of money that people work for. This is the ongoing situation.

My gauge of what the Fed is up to, is the USD Index. Will continue to use this tool as a means of analyzing what the heck is going on.

Is there anything real that supports this in the market. Yesterday PT made the post from Oanda. Longs and Shorts are both in the red. So it is a range market which has trapped both sides depending upon when they took entry.

Would be interesting if anyone else has a viewpoint on this matter.
