Nah..bears r chillin right now.they might be in charge next month..starting around 1.43xx next month will be sweet...on the bulls side..around that area might be too much for them..but for the bears?super bargain..but we never know!!!! money management ftw.. imho.

My feeling is that reality of the situation will re-emerge and all the partying that a Greek deal is nearly done will be outstriped by a new lot of potential default by another struggler in the EU. The Greek deal just sounds like another can kicked, plus some people that stummped up the money getting majorly kicked too. Doesn't make me feel as warm and fuzzy as some of the commentators on TV seem to feel.

yes, we're still in the shadow of the big 2009/10 drop but we have higher highs higher lows since 06/2010.. we just made a HL at 3145 imo.

perhaps i'm totally wrong, if yes then sorry for causing havoc: i'm not counting any LH/LL in that May-to-August clusterf*ck phase - can't see a swing there.. regarding that trendline, we're in similar situation like January this year (yellow 'faster' trendline).

4360 should be the key to 4550, break that -> retry 5000. ECB/NFP combo could be used to push it.. can't imagine a reason for a massive drop right now (that means: my imagination is painfully weak).

Enough time for a technical retracement. Moreover bull will get Old lower TL support which started 1.1964

It will be totally wrong if bear let price more up.

Morning , so wave 3 is fixed but correction trying very short , limit 4037 though . lets see if c1 now fixed with confirmation break 4186 & 4200 again or not to try up again or failure as already trying shortcut towards 4147,4100,4048 .sign break 4160 towatrds next confirmation down at 4109.

overnight not much movement & waiting start the move again .

True , 200ma is not any determinant of the market , if price wants can go in & out any time . we invented how many ma s to fit it , ema,sma,dma etc then 200ma to up 400ma , 600ma etc .what sees not always true otherwise everybody would be success all the time . but not.

It moved much higher on Thursday ...

Span has been 382 pips ...

Currently (during Asian Session) I dont expect much lower than 1.4157 - 1-4140 or 1.4100 ...

From there one more attempt to the upside ... but even upside limited soon ... maybe 1.4216 / 29 ... and only if cross above 1.4247 then 1.4285 or 1.4335 might be reached ...

Afterwards (when upside done and over) a deeper pullback is expected again ... 1.4100 and below that even to 1.4066 or 1.4037 in case of an extention ...

Whereas it cannot be ruled out ... that there might be one last attempt to the upside ... maybe 1.4216/ 25 or in case of an extention 1.4285 - 1.4335 ...

Then declines towards 1.4100 (DPP) or even to 1.4037/ 11 ...

Not unlikely ! you knew I am short !
Fundamentals not go direct into my head before the burn & so sure fighting technical analysis alone to see them.

anyway gold signal still not taken into account , it is posing enough correction down , the red box before up attempt most possible but crazy up not impossible though as upper limit still at high without any reversal attempt there 1763.very near it reached already . no reversal there then all should follow to down great enough .watching.

Nobody will tell you because nobody knows. And if somebody tells you Yes or No, it's just a guess, nothing more! The market is in strong bullish mode, even if it doesn't advance another 400 pips today it can just stall at these levels today and take another rally on Monday or even gap up. I don't want to scare you but it's completely possible you'll be losing much more in no time. Scroll back the charts to December 2008 and see what happened there. I know it's unlikely to happen now, but it can happen.

The only advice I can give you is the one you don't want to hear:

If you sold 3750, the trade is running since last week. You've had an opportunity to close it on Wednesday for a 50p loss or several times for ~100p loss - you didn't do it because you hoped. Now you're 450 pips in red. You didn't (at least partially) exit on the way up even after price broke thru multiple resistance levels. And you are still hoping. CLOSE THE TRADE NOW. Quit hoping NOW. And yes, take it as a punishment. It absolutely doesn't matter if price turns on the dime the moment you close the loss. Only one thing matters: NEVER let it go so far again. You have to learn and apply risk management. Hope & Pray mode will kill you in trading.

If you want to hold it and wait for a retrace, then it must be your very own decision. Nobody sane will take the responsibility to advice you.

I believe no one know what the price will be in 2 weeks ? many things can happen (QE 3 ,rating downgrade,etc )..But short term is bullish and nearest resistance at 1.43 with support at 1.39..Might hedge + martingale your position if only 3% of capital in risk..? just my 2 cents

Agreed to that...
I've been in similiar position a couple weeks ago, go short in 1.3500...
I took my losses about 200 pips, close my position in 4 days, ....quite a hard lesson for me since I'm new to this trading.

Now I'm back at demo account, still need to learn much more..
