I've been reading every post since yesterday(on page 89 now) its been some work though. Yesterday was the first time taking a trade and I did it in on 5mins chart and made some pips off eur/usd and gbp/usd . Later along as I kept on reading I noticed eval had changed to the 15mins TF,so today I switched to the 15mins charts,but just got in a trade on gbp/usd.If I had taken it on 5mins chart I would have been up 26pips.Its normal for 5mins chart to be quicker than 15mins chart. I just want to ask people using this method with success; is the 5mins chart more reliable? and can anyone compare their success rate between the two time frames?

It's going really well.....there are plenty of arrows that can be ignored, but the arrow after the extreme spike (assuming the other indies line up) is the one to enter the trade on. It's not as fast as Triggerlines, but it doesn't have the false entries that Triggerlines does. Sometimes it's faster than Supertrend, sometimes the timing is the same.....it's never slower.

I like the arrows for 3 reasons....

1. The chart (to me) seems less crowded with the arrows than it does with the Superternd

2. When combined with the other indies, including stochastic, the success rate is very high

3. When combined with other indies, but not the extreme spike, it's possible to get a great re-entry if you exit due to an extreme spike that later disappears.

I'll write a PDF over the next few days, as free time allows and post it together with the indi......I think after reading the PDF you can demo with the arrows and see how you go

Hi there kasapreko.

You'll have to wait for Evaluator to answer because only he, as far as I know, has been trading both M5 and M15 charts, so he will be able to make the comparison for you.

For me, the M5 is just fine.....it very much suits my style of trading. Whether it is more or less profitable than the M15, I really don't know.

the trendline indicator just repainted on me now....was red with the other indicators now it turned blue (on the 15mins chart gbp/usd) is there a particular way we time this entry? like say we wait for 2 candles to close under or above the trenline color?

Most people would discourage trading during Asian sessions, however, most of the time, you can capture +50 pips during this session, if you apply the rules as laid out in Post #1.

Trading in this time zone of GMT+8 (Perth, if you are in down under) has been awesome all these years as you can, if you want, trade almost ALL sessions.

I trade M5.

What i do is to refresh the chart when new candle starts. Merely using the refresh button is not good enough. I find that,to me, the most reliable way is to switch between different timeframe.

I have no choice......I only have Asian and UK markets available to me because USA session is during my sleep time. I can still gather 100 pips most days though, and that is good enough for me.

Applying what's in Post #1, you only need 50 pips per day to double your account in a month.

Looks like i'm not the only one aiming for 100 pips per day. Good on you, mate!

how come no one is talking about today's negative trades? or didn't we all see the same thing on the charts? at least on eur/usd and gbp/usd.
there should be some how to filter these kinda trades,like a way of following the trend on the bigger charts.....any thoughts?!

which trade on euro that did not went well?

please, post charts and we could analyze it together

imo there were no valid short setups on euro, only longs, which all turned to be positive.

Kasapreko,

I also entered in the GU short trade. I don't recall hitting refresh on the candle change before the trade, but when the signal repainted I took that as a heads up that I might be on the wrong side of the trade. I thought about getting out immediately, which I mostly do, but actually held on a little and then took my small loss and awaited the next signal. That's what I like about leading indicators, they quickly tell you when they are wrong. Also, the hourly chart I noticed was going sideways. I prefer to take my entries in favor of trending hourly swings. I would not change my strategy based on a few bad trades in this whipsaw market.

see what I'm saying: I entered a sell on gbp/usd and I saw another signal on the 5mins chart for eur/usd,but I didn't enter the euro trade cause I noticed a very strong buy trend on the 4hr chart so I just let that one pass to see how it plays out..... besides Eval said he wanted to pimp,upgrade,amplify(whatever word) the system and make it better. This is part of my contribution to the thread.

Here's a 5m EURUSD chart from yesterday. The two, red checkmarks show where there was a extreme cycle top. There were two valid entries after those tops. Both would have stopped out at 50 pips each for a total loss of 100 pips. Maybe, I am using the system incorrectly based on Evaluator's rules in post 1. Regardless, I thought I would share. I hope to learn from your comments. Regards, Chris
