I am believe most of people hurry to jump in this long boat because afraid of late catch easy money from BOJ Intervention - Whatever this kind of mindset will trapped them in to the middle range if their dont use a proper MM

Lesson is learn about LOWS. Last time was with eiro price was 1.3850 and I was put 3 microlot shorts and price go till 1.45.

Me need be crazy lets short LOW again. I not hope on BOJ. If they intervent will be good if not trend will change soon because many start put longs.

I'm sure you're right....it just seems a bit silly to me because even if BOJ intervene, the move will be (maybe) 300pips.....maybe more. For the amount of time wasted watching this pair in the hope for intervention, a trader can make much more than that on just abut any other currency pair!!

I no longer see the point in watching this pair.....

When the trend eventually turns, I'm pretty sure that it will climb up over 100, so there will be plenty of time to enter a high probability trade on that trend.

There's no high probability trades here now....imo

I do not understand that it may invite not trade? After intervention wil not need buy but short because it will not be trend move. Moves need predict before because after they will not work on you.

If US and europe need to control unemployment I think they have to devalue their currencies by a large amount...

Yen probably at 60 to $ , and may be 60 to euro... there is a long way to go.. probably in 2015....

How much ever BOJ intervens, its like pouring a cup of water into the ocean...

Lower lows, lower highs ... not looking too spiffy to me. New all time lows might be just a matter of time.

The fact that no hard measures have been taken makes me think that they don't know what to do anymore. Why keep on shouting and complaining without taking hard action ? Apparently BOJ is on high alert yet doesn't act despite new all time lows have been forming for days now.

Could it be that they are bluffing, hoping to scare market off ? LOL

Can someone please explain to me what is so safe-haven about the Yen? Is it simply that they are not printing money, or is there something inherently safer about Japan versus Europe and USA. Last time I checked, I was unable to purchase things in Europe or in USA with Japanese Yen, or for that matter, anywhere else in the world except Japan. That a radio-active island with an aging population in the Pacific should now become the best place to park money is over my head. Thanks for explanations!

They have huge trade surplusses and debt is mainly in Japanese hands.

Guys,

Even US Provided Good US data doesnt help Yen much at all because there is another factor that will keep effected and effecting Yen getting stronger,one of them is Eur Pairs which against Jpy Currently

Closed my long position, will keep the rest of my shortposition and will short any bounce. Have doubts about whether they will intervene, despite the fact the pair made new all time lows once again. Have NO doubts about the sustainibility of a move up due to intervention .... it will be sold again.

Dollar index is surging, except against the Yen, scary. Just my 2 cents !
