I'm tryng to do what you said,pick only most reliable trades,this looked realiable to me because of the slope of the dragon and volumes on support and doji candle on 4 H chart in an uptrend.
Why you didn't find it reliable?

What I said about pick one out of six is, try to distinguish the good setup from the normal market noise. here three key points to look at
1. the position of the setup, it's all about S/R.
2. size of the wave, the width and height must be normal or bigger than normal.
3. the distance between the low and higher low (for long), it's better to see near term resistance turned into support and tested by high low.

dragon is confirmation only, it's not the prime reason for taking the trade. please review the previous posts learn to distinguish...

to me. single candle stick only reliable on daily chart.

try to read the tempo and size of the waves, see the waves in pink line, the distance between the lows and highs are showing same tempo.
those in white lines are much faster waves, the only good for M5 scalp, and part of them are market noise.

My 2 cents on choosing setups:

Identifying the best S&R zones is really key - ideally S&R that has reversed (e.g. support becomes resistance) and even better, an area that was peak demand (for taking a new long) or supply (for taking a new short). Check out Sam Seiden on peak demand/supply.

As a rule, the smoother the wave candles and the further away the S&R is from the dragon, the surer the set up (though by that time, it might have only 50 or 75 pips to go). The ones around London open usually travel furthest.

One thing I'd especially welcome any comments on - sometimes there is a great setup just before London open. I'm never sure whether to just enter at London open if it still looks good or try to find some other strategy for this?

Also, a pin bar reversal at the S/R zone is another great signal for a great setup...

hi mate, i dont believe in volumes as well coz i just dont see the use of it and i dont know how sonic use it in correlation to finding setups. but sonic is right volumes somehow give an insight on whats happening or if theres something going on when they start to spike up.

now, can someone explain to me what just happened this morning? i mean do you have the same candles or at least like this or its just me?

We had a double edged high spread sword, which normally occurs only in NFP day..

This move normally traps both long and short biased traders and easily whipped weak holders from both sides...

I am expecting big events with big move coming up.. Trade safe fellas..
