Most likely will turn around at 1.4010 if it manages to break above this week's range.

As there are no charts here, take a look at mine. Interesting point are those two dotted yellow lines, which somehow create ressistance now. Price really likes ranging here during this peak.

I'd say today is a ranging day. Last week it was ranging week, going up and down over 100 pips, and now a ranging day, perhaps we may get perfect doji candle. Even EUR does not know what to do with this whole mess

Right you are sir. We are ranging sideways since 16th Oct. But I wouldnt call todays ranges special. During this period, we experienced one very sick spike at 20.10., marked in white. But indeed, while NY opened today, that spike up and down within 15 minutes was very sick (I think that was partially because of that hoax with cancelling wensdays summit).

yes very sick spike indeed.
I sold the top and bought the bottom but only scalped.

Lol, sold the top and bought the bottom of the most unpredictable spike during two weeks. Good luck with your scalping strategy, whatever crystal ball are you using , I wouldnt dare. Well, maybe when they kick me out of work for sitting whole day at FF, I will be scalping too until I find another job.

Yes, seems today is a perfect day for scalping with bollinger bands. Price keeps bouncing them like mad. Come one, price! It is forex market, not a Ping-Pong match!

And the beat goes on...

Not much new to report. Everything continues to look bearish. My RSI Trendline will not be crossed and continues to show bearish divergences. Crossing it would be my exit signal.

The THV is looking bearish also with both the Fast Trix and Slow Trix red and the Fast having crossed the Slow.

A bunch of doji candles are being built on the H4 (bearish). The S&P has fallen, which is supposed to lead the Euro down, but so far, this thing is floating in midair defying gravity.

Yeah, its truly amazing, the Euro is completely ignoring the fundamentals right now, I think its that 61.8 fibo on the daily that everyone is gravitating to. "The Golden Retracement." Think at that point in time the bears take over again, but who knows, maybe they take over at 1.3950, its been acting as a barrier to further upside.

Hi all, Just thought i'd come on and see what the general view is and as always is bearish. Just wanted to give my take on it all. Ive set up fibonnaci levels on eur/usd and i have moving averages set up on s&p500. Right now we're heading towards the 200sma on the s&p500 the level at 1260. We're also heading towards the 61.8% fib level on s&p500. I feel if these levels are broken and hold well then we really have re-entered a bull market. All of my technicals are pointing lower so I am with you all when I feel the downtrend is coming and I hope for all of you it is a prosperous one. I may take positions depending on what news we get but if nothing major occurs I remain in study mode! Happy trading all!

The reason the E/U did not follow the SP500 downhill is because somebody dumped truckloads of USDs today as some idiotic FED members have been jawboning about more QE3.

Now safe haven seekers are buying Yen and the BOJ is now threatening to intervene.

Should be interesting.

That´s because it is a strong resistance area formed by the high of 10/17 and the low of 7/12. It may not break it, but who knows what happens tomorrow after the announcement. If it comes down, it should start it today. We´ll see...

Its truly ridiculous, the Fed is not going to engage in QE3 anytime soon, they're just stoking the market to get a rally because the FED sees the stock market as a driver of financial growth, and of course, the market is completely ignoring the voting federal reserve members who have come out this week and said that no further QE is necessary. lol But, the market wants to go higher, so they're listening to who they want to, and ignoring everyone else.

Yeah, Janet Yellen, the Fed Vice Chair. A dovish liberal. Nobody pays any attention to her. The ones holding up the QE morons now are Fisher and Lacker. They won´t let it happen. I hope anyway.
