Hi Folks,

Minor re-set on the rules that you are deploying using the 5MA as these are not the original TMS rules.

These settings are based on "The 5 Method" and the original settings from Big E for this were: MA5, EMA, Shift 2 or 3, Price Typical.

However, this is not used within the TMS - Please re-read Post #1 for the original entry rules and refer to the updates noted at the bottom of the post.

Hi I have been following this thread for a few weeks and trading on demo. I seem to be taking 2 steps forward then 1 back.

I live in Australia so London trading is not a problem for me, although I cant always catch the open due to work commitments

I have one comment and that is the crossing of the TDI should be at an angle of 12 to 2 (on a clock face) for longs and 4 to 6 for shorts. One could argue that this would be covered by your rule #5, but rules is rules.

Thanks Erebus. I don't have that selection (shift) on my broker's platform but see it now on the MT4.


So the settings are period 5 and shift 2 or 3 for Exponential Moving Average, right?
