Is it really two years ago that you introduced so many of us to the concept of central bank intervention? The post 1 date says it all, so it must be. It feels like yesterday.

That bridge must get sick of watching all that water passing underneath.

Back then, a lot of us learned a lot from you. It looks like there is more to come and I am glad. No doubt many others feel the same.

Hello Scoobs,

I was just checking your myfxbook page again (and again and again and you stated a leverage of 1:500 there with Alpari UK.

As I am also with Alpari UK, I noticed a change of leverage in the demo accounts since around the last MT4 Update. Usually until then all demos had a 1:500 but now I think it is a 1:100 like it says at opening credentials for a demo account.

I tried to prove via a screenshot but as it is weekend the displaying EA won't refresh.

If this would mean that we could multiply all numbers by 5 ... well then I will skip your EA. I can't live with a DD up to 3% ... ;-)

Thanks a lot, Steve ! This is superb easy to use, diddn't want to install anything that might interfear. But it can't get any easier than this for those of us suffering from no ticks at the weekends ^^

Here I have attached a screenshot of my demo account at Alpari, the 4th number from above says 1:100. I don't have any elder demo accounts at the moment to state the 1:500 before, but we all know it was that high leverage I think

I have also attached the AccountInfo.mq4 for anyone's convenience. Please note that all credits and copyright go to the author !

Two years???? Jeez.

I've learnt too much off you guys. I must say.

About 3 years ago, I thought trading was gambling... some got lucky... then i cam across this thread... followed by nanningbobs...murray maths... now I am on my way to becoming a profitable trader.

Its all down to the selfless nature of people on FF.

Its based around an index going OB or OS combined with individual currencies approaching support/resistence areas.

Kind of but not what use to happen previously. We dont just send all the trades if an index just goes OB or OS. We only send the ones which are approaching support/resistence levels.

Wonderful. Can you give any hints about ways to algorithmically define support/resistance? And do you trade a reversion "back" to a support/resistance area? or breakout?

Just curious and not into to 20 questions and of course you have no obligation to say, but i have followed nanningbob and his sytems for over a year and am looking at his 10.1 BO recent changes he uses as BO but i thought it might have value in a reversal system using the recent s/r areas and i believe squlou who i know works steve and several other contributors was working on a revision of his mtf s/r. This combined with another interesting concept i am demoing the circ cross currency using currency indexes. So where i was at is use the s/r on the currecny indexes ie GBPlfx and ob/os rsi and trade the reversal -i created templates using both threds last week and just observing but it was very interesting is yours something similar

I dont understand the question and I dont know what NB's threads are all about although I appreciate he is a good trader.

My EA is based around an index (AUD, CAD, CHF, EUR, GBP, JPY, NZD, USD) becoming overbought or oversold. I then look at which trades within the index are approaching or broken their support/resistence levels.

I also look to see if a central bank is intervening in the market like SNB, BOJ, BOE etc.
