It depends on the country..

If you are in US then gold prices are going down... but for rest of world its better than the local currency because US did QE1 and QE2 and monetized MBS etc and rest of world is facing huge inflation....

Gold gives insulation against US problems... even if US prints rest of countries are safe because PP is preserved....

Thatz is why India and china, korea, indonesia etc bought gold in tons.

In short nobody trusts dollar anymore !

and after 200 pips up the talk of how US Dollar is worthless piece of paper .

s&p 500 close to R2 (1229)/ 3x top good place to short (as per my broker now @ 1221) will USA start sell off today, have to be very careful after 2,3 of Nyse open and dax30 now 5893 , 6000 mayor sell off point

Bias is a thief, when it comes to trading and those that employ it never truly see it. They bashed the opposite of the trade they are in, it is really funny

Suppose Gold:Currency ratio 1USD:1Gold
You printed 1 more USD

Its ratio will be 2USD:1Gold
That means gold will be valuable.

If you are still learning i shouldn't talk to you.
