Thanks. I learn more from Ambrose than from anybody else. What he does just tastes so much better than anything else because he knows how to season his work with the right amount of history.

If I read this correctly, short is on the way? Currently it's continuing the previous trend which is long?

Anyway, i suspect even this leakage was a planned act

Current trend is sideways, and has been for 8 days. The 8 days before that it was trending up... but that was really a counter trend of the direction since May which is down.

In otherwords, we are stuck, but a break south is more likely than a break north.

ya, he's good. Readers' comments good too sometimes.

On the other hand, he gets paid to write articles. No article - no paycheck. Even when there ain't much new to say, gotta keep churning it out...

My guess is towards South as Aaron said which is more likely to happen.

I already went for a short at 1.3773 with a tight stop loss (absolutely foolish).... Now you know the result of that...

Now in a dilemma whether to short that again or just pack up with that slap.

Are you using real money or a demo? If you are using real money open a secondary demo account to experiment with. That way you have a third option when you get hit by a loss.

That was actually real money

I have a demo, but you know i find it hard to trade on it. If something get right in demo i become more greedy coming in to Live with a bigger size. Usual will get hit by a blow, then i go again to demo. Trading cycle of mine

Knowing the problem is half the solution. Greed, fear, know them, love them, welcome it the darkside where the money is at. You rule, not them, or you get your ass kicked. Life on forex is simple...simple and hard.

Quitting with a loss is a psychological mistake. So go back to your demo and practice entries, exits and self mastery.

Remember, any size live is infinitely bigger than any size on a demo. Also, always count your loss first. Ie when placing a live entry, think "I could lose x", not "I'm going to make Y."

Always some cream with this guy, regardless of the Churn. He is a bit like PT in that aspect.

True true. When i am filled with those emotions i find FX more and more interesting. And as you said, i always count the loss. That made me to go for tighter stop. My mind said no to go for that trade. I should have obeyed. But that was really a much needed experience. And i am going back to demo for sometime atleast. And i believe we cant make money before losing some especially in FX(i may be wrong from your perspective).

Anyway, thank you for the tips.

France, Germany May Lose AAA Rating, Grant Says

Oct. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Mark Grant, a managing director at Southwest Securities Inc., talks about the outlook for resolution of Europe's sovereign debt crisis and the possibility that France and Germany may lose their AAA ratings. Grant also discusses a Bloomberg report that European governments may unleash as much as 940 billion euros ($1.3 trillion) to fight the crisis. One more tip. Write down everything you see as an important rule and then take five deep breaths before you place a trade, read the rules, and then place the trade (or not). Seriously, this will help you more than almost anything you can do.

Basic math says that if you have an SL of 10, and a TP of 1000, you are 99% more likely to hit your SL. The reverse is also true. So next time you use a tight SL, think about this.
