I think the "Use5emaCandleClose" could be good if it required a close over the 5ema to trigger and not just a wick of the 5ema as at present.
You already can use it either way depending on your settings.

i don't mind the "Sleeping" message with that setting i just put 1 min but i get this message instead "Trade Window Not Active"

Hi everyone

I noticed that since I have installed scalping set file I have on some currencies the message coming up saying confused
I am confused as well

Hi Seller9, here is what I found in one EA that "stretch" the signal to the Broker in order to overcome some the errors while placing the order.

yes i read this in the manual. but i often noticed that something with this is wrong. i took a chart and played around with the zone-value, while the PA was almost exactly at the upper or lower tma line:

i set the value to 110% and the zone-icon was yellow. i increased the value to 100% and the icon turned green or red. so i suspected that the upper and lower lines are 100% and not 200%. for further analyzing i needed the percentage in numbers. i hope i will get better results now.

Hi Maxzeus, having the same problem as yours.

The EA on H1 TF on two brokers are sleeping the whole day, whereas those on M15 are awake.

So nothing new to offer.

I set only one pair to false, and it shows "Trade Window Not Active" (almost 10 hours ago until now).

As I put up the earlier post and a few minites after the market watch pass 13 hr GMT, I found that the others are "looking for trade".

Before replying to your post, I re check again: now they have fallen "asleep" again.

"trade windows not active" is normal, that only means, that you disabled the TradeWindow setting. my bot shows this too and is trading.

if you have UseCandle2TradeWindow set to true, check your setting "Candle2TradeWindowsMinutes". set it to the time as your timeframe (for H1 to 60), so the bot will look all the time for a trade. but this setting is the same as setting UseCandle2TradeWindow to false.

Keep in mind, my main strategy's based on Ichimoku, so it'll take me a 2-3 days to develop a good strategy for lower timeframes.

On a side not, I'm getting that damn "Error 130" message during the first test. Could it be that I get this because I'm using Oanda (5-digit broker)?

Something very strange, EA wakes up to trade then fall back to sleep.

Take a look at the first chart, the EA is scalping while the first snapshot was taken. Four minutes later (you can see the time inprint at corner 3 of the chart) before the second snapshot was taken, she has fallen asleep. The 2 charts are combine into one).

The next chart is the trade history.

on which value did you set "Candle2TradeWindowsMinutes"?
if you have seller's scalping settings, then it's set to 30 minutes. so at 13:00 the bot starts looking for trades for 30 minutes, takes a trade or more. at your second chart you see the time 13:34. but after 13:30 (after the 30 minutes you set in Candle2TradeWindowsMinutes), the bot is sleeping and doesn't look anymore until the next candle opens at 14:00.

yes, right! or set UseCandle2TradeWindow to false. you dont need it, if you want the bot trade all the time.

Thats right, if you want it to trade for the entire time of the candle set it to false, it still trades but does not use the Trade Window. The information line under the candle clock only referes to the trade window. When it says "Trade Window Not Active" that means your not using the trade window but you are still trading. The second information line under the candle clock tells you what the robot is really doing. The trade window is just used to mimic BigEs method, get up every 4 hours check charts for crosses then go back to bed and repeat this every four hours for what ever time frame you are using. Some traders didn't like the Robot taking trades in the middle of the second candle, so thats why this was added. Now you can set just how long to look for a trade at the open of the candle. The Candle Patterns also determine on which candle you will be able to take these trades.
Trade Window when being used will display the following:
1) Looking for Trade (durring window in minutes setting)
2) Sleeping (Waiting for new candle and new window)
3) Standing By ( You are in a Trade and Robot will wait for trade to close and then look for the next trade at the beginning of a new candle)
4) Trade Window Not Active (You have chosen not to use the Trade Window in the settings, Robot still looks for trades as long as it isn't suspended)

The best way to check this is to use the TmaTrue (set edblAtrMultiplier to 2.0) and then turn on your data window and put the mouse over the last candle. The regular TMA indicator looks a little different on the chart. Also this is what I use to get the ATR value.

What I use now is in the original EA in post #1, if traders are still getting errors I can always try this.

Can I get some feedback on what type of entry errors when placing orders you are getting? A screen shot would be nice of the alert window.
