Lately my strategy is just out the window i've been finding it quite difficult to manage a full week of gains its either huge profit or i get it completely wrong several times in the one day. I had hope to reach my yearly figure that i had set out at the start of the year by the end of this month and from then on in trade micro lots. I think PT is right when he says I'm trading on hope more so than fundamentals its just a matter of me realising it. It seems as though it may be time to take a brief break from trading and regroup and re-gather my thoughts!

Plus, whatever they come up with is going to need to be voted on by 17 countries, more delay.

I didn't wait, I put my toe in at 1.377, got 3 more positions I can add if it climbs higher.

Those last three H4 candles are quite scarry. I think the breakpoint is very close. But NY session is almost over and Asia seems to be buying. As usual, I dunno what to do. But I dont mind, as these moves are still following my plan (kind of, as I expected doubletop to 1,4, which may not occur). Daily pivot aint working at all today. I think NY will try to bring it down to those aqua lines down there. Then asia last spike up, hopefully to 1,39x and Friday doomsday.

Edit: Hmhm, is Australia still Asia? Dont think so . Damn this geography, I should get back to mathematics.

And one more Edit: Seems to me FF has wrong times since it put opening hours at 8:00 AM of Sydney time and they open at 7:00. I need to check it out. Untill then, dont listen to me.

After some time of thought I have decided to close all positions and take all equity out of my account. I feel my "luck" as a novice has run out I've been hoping rather than knowing exactly what was happening I focused too much on the analysis of others rather than on my own intuition. I suppose I am lucky in a way that i didnt recieve a margin call but infact have taken it upon myself to take what I have and run! To anybody else in this forum who is finding it difficult I would suggest the same. For the next month or maybe the rest of the year I will be in study mode both for college and Forex. Work over the Christmas will give me extra financial backing and I can resume trading without being in the mindset of having to trade no matter what just to make money. Finally I would like to thank Piptrapper and anyone else along the way that has shared their advice with me it has been greatly appreciated. I wish all of you a prosperous trading year and hope you can all see 2011 in the green . early asia has been awfully thin lately, definitely not worth my time. tokyo open is worth a peek, then an eye on asian mid-day into FO. I am not perturbed if I miss any of that either. a guys got to sleep sometime, anyway...
