I've said there may not be any reason, the method is not 100%. Haydel said the MAs was not steep enough for his taste. Fair enough! I hope experienced guys can give comments too, but they have their own other commitments .

Just wanted to say that I just finished reading old Dance thread and whole experience felt like a story with anticlimax. Good man trying to help others and ends up being accused of something horrible he didn't do.

Sigh! Hope I can finish this thread soon as well and see the spirit of eclayf alive here!

I am with you on this 100% This thread has been a good learning ground for me. Every time the experienced dancers provide their market insides and trade results, its just valuable stuff I record them in office one note.

This weekend I plan to do some research on volume and price. see if I can find any edge. Anyone knows anything pls do share. Been a d@mn busy week at work.

Took short at first touch. Was this impatient entry? (Yes, in hindsight I think. Will wait at watch.)

I also want to hear from other dancers but since no one replied you I will tell you what I did and why. I think it is a good trade to take by the rules however I scalp my 1st trade for about 5 pips and got stopped out at BE for my 2nd. I could have had it hit my SL with a full lost.

The reason why i scalped and was cautious is because there was a pin in the H4 rejecting WP, MP, and PPA. Very powerful. The price has cleared 1.37 area where all the important levels are hence I was treating that trade as a counter trend trade.... I hope some of you caught the scoop up. It looks like it will touch DP.

EDIT: Ah it did, I didn't expect it to move that fast though. What the heck happened. Anyway took my TP trading that pin bar.

For me the only reason i would have move my stop at BE quickly is the momentum;

look this green momentum bar just before your entry!!

I never play against the flow (momentum) even if there is a great aera, but it's me, i'm conservative.

I saw Kostas have played against severals time and he have had good wins.

But personnaly, playing against momentum or Ct don't suit me. but it's just me

Yes but more so for the PB on H4. The higher the TF the more significant the candle pattern is. Most of my trades are after candle patterns setups.

As far as i know kostas doesnt move his SL to B/E he closes 85% at 8-12 pips profit and leaves the S/l on the rest as is ..... if i remember correctly he said he notices price retraces very often so if you move ur s/l to B/E chances are you will get stopped out for no gain (or loss) on most trades

This is the right attitude if you are not very experienced. Stay with the trend & momentum. When I play CT I use short term momentum to scalp and quickly take profit.

That's exactly right my friend.
Actually, most times I close the whole trade quickly and only if I think the action could be strong, I leave a 10-20% of the trade open.

I think that the main reason why your trade did not give more pips is because there was no resistance levels near.
Resistance or Supports Levels like Pivot Points, Round Numbers or Previous Price Action Swings on H4 or D1 are very strong.

For example if you are going to trade H1 10 touch in confluence with M15 35/50, make sure that you have a S/R level very close to your entry point, if the level is between M15 35 and M15 50 that’s even better, there is a high probability that you will get 15 to 20 pips and maybe more.

I got +16p with this trade today.

I´m not looking for big moves, 15-20 pips is enough to make my account growth around 2% per trade, and little bounces are perfect for that.

Choros gives very nice signals for to achieve that and combining Choros with Supply and Demand Areas can give us very reliable little bounces even if there is no clear trend or even when MAs are a little flat.

Yep, except for the Take Profit level that was settled a little below H1 10 in confluence with M15 35 and RN.

CHOROS rules to set my TP level.

Actually if you see the charts now, my TP could have been used as a nice SHORT entry point, the problem was that M15 MAs where too flat at that moment.

excactly. if you take a trade off another MA (probably a higher TF one) your first (or partial) exit is near the M15 10.
Dance/Choros can blend so well with a lot of other things, some times i think its just magic

Hi Haydel, You said the 35/50 touch trade for EU today had no S/D that is why it didn't give any pips. However I see a S/D zone in the 15M that was more or less in between 35/50. Why do you not consider it a S/D?

i dont know about Haydel but here is my view on it in the interactive thread. he took a short on a M15 35/50 too close to an H4 supply level that had just reacted
