I believe this is the top. the 50% Fibonacci retracement of the 8/30 to 10/4 drop at 1.3844 is being respected nicely while forming the right shoulder of a classic Head & Shoulders pattern. The predicted minimum drop if and when we break the neckline at 1.3620 is to around 133.

I am betting heavily on the short side. Will reevaluate at 1.33.
Where you have stop loss, there may be a decent spike up.

It is not about technicals right now...too much volatility to my taste but it is assets re-allocation that pushes euro up.

Lesson learnt already. Assumption of a top is a dangerous thing to play in fx. All I can see is strength in all USD pairs.
Orange shade are the breakdown area and should be the stronger resistance in an uptrend. Aussie been leading the pack this past few days...too bad I closed it too early.

I dont see price bending yet but all are making a reentry into regression channel.

Also, the clear divergences on both the Trix and RSI point supports the view of an imminent fall.

A clear break higher of the 50% at 1.3844 will, of course, blast my projections to smithereens, but I am confident this will not happen at this time. This is a dream short with huge profit potential and a close stop loss.

If this lump does fall over would keep eye on 3389ish and 3340ish, they may just protect 33 if they go "poor euro"

Stop loss at 1.3920, above the head.

It is always about technicals. The price bar contains all events within it. Allowing for volatility, of course.

according to my opinion the eur/usd pair may go to 1.39150 level and if the level is not broken then we can see a reversal to 1.36800 level and if on reversal that level is broken then we are looking for a significant move down

Well, that would need a real push to get above 1.39, right now market is silent, interest is somewhere else or waiting something to happen.

About technicals i meant that eurusd chart may do some tricks today.

I will consider a short only at the break of a bullish TL. With a pullback that tests the trend extreme, the pullback can undershoot or overshoot the old trend extreme.

In the mean time I am getting very bored. I will give her another 30m, if she does not move I will.
