Well since you are using Elliott. I have plotted that (a) of yours same way as you did. And I expect (b) wave to form a doubletop as we need to keep in mind this bullish correction of major downtrend was 700 pips high. I dont think they will give up this easily. Morover, since Slovaks approved boosted EFSF, EUR could fundamentally arise in short term. So I see that doubletop to 1,388 very likely. Since my insane research is focused on wave comparision in a longer timescale, I even expect to form a new peak around 1,4. This conclusion is based on resarching 6.6.2010 cycle till now, when only two simmilar corrections appeared (only they were bearish corrections, as the whole cycle was bullish till 7.7.2011). Those corrections are dated to 5.5.2011 and 5.11.2010.

Forex: Lower Expectations May Leave Euro Vulnerable To More Favorable Developments

I had not expected the major currencies to pullback as much as they did on Monday and into Tuesday. However, it fits the general pattern whereby Fridays are often trend days in the forex market and there is frequently some (albeit limited) follow-through early Monday that a corrective phase ensures. This pattern is still playing out and I am still reluctant (stubborn?) to give up on my idea that the euro and other major currencies have not yet peaked in this upside correction.
