I got sleepy... And since I hit more than my daily profit today, so I decided to take a break and go to sleep too... Quit even some losing 'scale-ins', as open trades that come back in nightmares aren't best solution. I dont even know how many pips I got in total... but certainly hit twice more on CAD than on EUR. Even aggressive scaling in and scalping didn't boost EUR results...

EURUSD is a stubborn pair...

I am hoping for a good entry point in the end of Asian session (that is when I wake up ), to short the forsaken currency once more.

Oh, and AUD and CAD show less weakness right now. They were moving in pretty tight 5-15M channels, that are getting broken (or extended - will see). That caused me to quit my trade wthout attempting to wait for the scale-ins to exit them gracefully

Trade final update.

Stopped out 4 pips before BE. That didn't work. Oh well, try something else.

will reevaluate at 3740... either another upswing, or fastbreak to downside..

Didnt read back far enough to se what your trade was

Looks like we might see 1.382 as good entries for shorts. Im carefully watching a small long to around 1.382 (50%) or so. By then we may have a more revealed top H&S pattern ON h4.

No chart to post - yours is perfectly adequate

Been in and out today with taking care of other things today.

I am still holding a short from .3880 and have moved SL to .3820.

I will add-on another short at .3794-.3804 area, auto-trigger will be at .3804. If she don't get there while I'm not looking......I may trigger manually when I am there.

If stopped out , I will find better entry

I am trying to build a little pip catching machine as this eventually cascades.

The only thing that has been determined is that the upward momentum of the last few days is not inevitable. But still, if the sun comes out in January, I am all over it.

One of many things to look at is expectations. PT did this with his poll, but you can also go beyond the poll and look at the range of predictions (expectations) out there.

The extreme range is from 1.55 to 1.0.
The a less extreme range is from 1.45 to 1.20.

So if the price goes up by another 700 pips it has exceeded almost everybody's expectations. However, there are 1800 pips south of where PA currently is.

Expectations are relevant not because somebody thinks "X", that these is a crystal ball, or that there is strength in numbers. No, people buy and sell largely on their exceptions, buying low and selling high. So if everybody feels 1.45 is "too high" it is likely that 1.45 will not be reached. So expectations are a key market driver.

When I look at market depth on my platform I see someone has a bid down as low as 0.1000

Hope they are not expecting it to fill too soon.

At this point in the game - there are alot of posibilities:

>1.2 - 50 retrace of a very long term up trend that also touches a posible long term channel bottom.

~1.5 - beginning of oct was the bottom of a 500-618 retrace before continuing up to long term possible channel top.

1.41-1.44 right shoulder of a possible long term H&S (left was a year ago), but if that works out, then we end up back at 1.25-1.3 etc...

I find these and other possible contexts useful mainly as reminder to be careful and not to assume anything and give me zones to watch very carefully.

I voted for <1.2 simply because staring at the raw waveforms suggests a return to the bottom is due - regardless of what technicals might suggest and whether europe self-destructs or not
