took 36 pips profit on this short, ill look for re-entry at a later time, not really enough there for me to move break even right now or lock anything in, something is fishy in my opinion anyways, good luck to all you brave holders i hope ya clean up, see ya in the battle field soon.. MotownPhill

Still seeing heavy flows going to USD and JPY from all the majors, but GBP and CHF are stable and EUR falls in between. Heaviest hit are AUD and CAD.
I think we will continue even despite low asian volume, and then perhaps get a good bounce in late Asian. But it is sort of gut feeling

Indeed, my USD/CAD positions profit me the most. Event despite the fact, that the oil price stalls... But the EUR cannot defend forever. And even oil started to get soft during last hour. PT, your target gets closer and closer... Do you think Asian session may slow us down?
I think we will continue even despite low asian volume, and then perhaps get a good bounce in late Asian. But it is sort of gut feeling

The best way to deal with all this kind of 'news' is to trade your system and not be distracted by all of this.

However, if the Asians have lots of dollars to get rid of, it may put pressure on the dollar and stall our progress. But not for long

Nice Trade update:
Made it to 2:1 moved stop to 1.3766.
2 pips under BE which is also the 20ema mean of the Bollinger bands on the previous 30 minute candle and also just above a small supply zone that has developed on the 30 minute chart too.
I have moved my target down to 1.3145 to give her room to run possibly turning an intraday trade into a swing trade.
Already 4% up for the week on yesterdays trade and BE on this trade, I have nothing to lose by letting it run as far as I can.
Price is hung up a bit in a demand zone between 1.3721/31 highlighted in purple. It's her second trip to this zone and has been penetrated fairly deeply. IMHO, it won't hold.
Below, I see short term demand zones at 1.3710, 1.3661 and 1.3604 that could hang up the fall or give her a bounce.
I don't care which way the market is going as long as it's going my way

My system, for example, does not use fundamentals per se, but I do need to be aware of economic releases, etc. to trade it properly.

I'm not saying disregard fundamentals for those who use it. If you do use fundamentals, you should know your sources and stick with those and not be distracted by all the myriad analysts and analysis out there.

Point taken. I do think that sometimes too much can be distracting.
However, I do appreciated having the option to read or not.
An example of losing focus on the fundamental-news side was last week with the secon ( or was it third ) Slovakia vote. I had completely forgotten about it and took a loss when it happened. But alas, that'sthe way it goes sometimes.

Hi guys, we finally have our bearish candlestick pattern! A bearish engulfing formed on the daily. PA also contained in a fallen channel. Price is currently sitting on 23 fib so I'm going to enter once I get a 1hr close below that support. I see a little turbulence based on a support line at 1.369 other than that down she goes. The techs and fundies are aligned so I say the bearish trend is back... See ya when the Europe session opens!
