And I took few long attempts. Most hit SL when I moved them above entry. One was losing. And I killed one when it earned more than the losing one lost. Still , but I am overcoming it slowly, as I manage to get better entries all the time (practice makes perfect). Around +15 pips in total

EDIT: Hmm, maybe I am too greedy and should close positions instead of moving SL up too early Or too nervous and should wait more with moving SL up. Either way, as long as the pips are green it is okay.

3810-20 is probably be the critical support for my projection..

you wouldnt like the % : ) but this would give an idea --> lol

I'm flat also, the weekly candle has me all confused.
I believe this weekly candle will say it all.

I am expecting to see 1.3940 this week or possibly 1.4 but will probably close the week around 1.3830 for a nice shooting star on the weekly chart.
The rationale behind this is that I don't believe anybody will want to hold risk assets over the weekend with the EZ FinMin meetings. Just a gut feeling though.

My experience with moving your SL past the BE point is that usually you are better off just closing the trade. But not always.

I know this is unrelated to the thread but I am long on the USD/JPY and it is finally paying off.

PT What i your approach to the whole question of the Stoploss?

PT i'd say 1.4 will print today. 1.41 doable this week. but by midweek we see some rad swings and moves down. i am expecting some jitters before the summit weekend and leaks about what the various bank exposures to writedown requirements may be. I'm with you on some downside toward the end of week - 1.38 - 1.39 range.

euro strengh been muted today even thoug its been hella risk-on, we are just 10 pips are so off the weekly open as i type.

anything can happen. EZ A-team may just pull it all together and "solve" the crisis, in which case we're back to the ranging e/u crippled midget wrestling match.

or they don't, and things fall apart. they try to kick the can down the road some more but the market says hey sorry you outta road and the euro faklls hard and takes the various assets classes with it except for the usd & treasurys.

i will be looking for a chance to scalp into a big move, but since that is what i always do anyway, just another week in the pits

a stoploss is like a magnet. The JPY has a habit of spiking and I do not wish to be taken out by any such spike.

Not sure about 1.41. It seems a bit out of reach as 1.40 is a major psych line and the low 1.40's is home to tons of supply. But hey, why not? I wouldn't be shocked

ADD: This 1.39 level; is really holding well though.

i took my profit 3960 , +35 pips in the bank..
