Is the skype venue a "live trades only" group or is it simply an extension of the TMS thread?

profitable trades. 90-100~ pips. in 35min..
usdjpy closed coz of news.
today 160~ pips already.. goal 200.

when i get loss i ll post chart.. and i ll analyze it.

If anyone is interested in trading only the E/U using TMS live you'll can join me on Skype. Here we will be looking for potential setups and entries using TMS method. If you want to discuss other pairs there is another group on Skype called TMS. So hope we see some serious traders there helping each other grow their accounts.
I believe if we concentrate on 1pair then we can be more focused and gain good pips.

Find the cat when your SL is hit so that you can get away from the screen and avoid making another bad decision - turn on stereo - stroke cat - relax.

Then - take screen shot of the trade and run your analysis / lessons learned. Make your journal entries - return to step 1.

Do not over trade to compensate, this is all part of the forex market and occassionally even the correct entry decisions can turn and bite back.

I have redusced the number of trades per week now and there is much less pressure / stress. I rarely have more than 1 trade running concurrently - although I did run with 3 open positions a couple of weeks ago - not the norm!

I see several folks with pip goals for the week, accompanied by happy posts that the goal was hit.

What happens if you do not hit your goal?

Do you stop trading if you hit your goal?

Does having a pip goal help?

How does this relate to your account balance?

What stops you from "over trading"?

This is a follow up to the chart I posted a few weeks ago and is looking at initial TDI cross and how trades develop when they are up and running on a trend.

For the TDI purists, this is an add-on to the TDI, so may not be for you.

Also, this will depend greatly on how you manage your trades for SL and TP levels.

Drawdowns are always part of the forex market and will test your intestinal fortitude - this is a good approach to backtest and the real test is whether you can pick this up on live trading. For me, the biggest challenge is to set up a pending trade with a buy or sell stop and leave it in place for several candles (H4 or Day).

These patterns occur on a regular basis and I now watch about 15 of the pairs - majors plus a couple each of the jpy, eur and gbp cross pairs. First noticed this when back testing TMS, so pick your favorite pairs and look for this on H4 and Day charts.

With this trade, the TDI cross would have yielded up to 700 pips - and it is still going, however, if you were able to add on to this at each Fractal ...

TDI cross 700, Fractal 1 640, Fractal 2 340, Fractal 3 220, etc.

So this trade, if you had followed it all the way, and you had added on at each Fractal point, and not closed out any of the positions, would now be yielding 1900+ pips. Not too shabby for 8 days. However, this looks great on paper and you would have had to stay in through the drawdowns (all depends on your MM) - not saying that it is something that can be hit on a consistent basis, but it is worth watching out for.

If you had closed out per TDI rules and re-entered on each Fractal, it would still have been good for at least a couple of trades and several hundred pips.

For the record, my entry point on this one was on a Fractal that did repaint between shortly after Fractal 1 and unfortunately was not in a live account.

This is also a good example of using the TMS Osc - when the day is green, you can look to enter long every time the H4 goes green.

Remember, this is just a training chart and they always look great in hindsight, but these patterns do occur when a pair gets itself into a strong trend.

Hey, first time on forex factory. I've been studying tms demo trading for two years. Been about break even till I found this method. I work a full-time job so I try to stick with the daily time frame. I want to trade London but it is hard with a day job.

On a slightly more mundane topic I notice you have an ATR label in the top left corner of your chart. Mind if I ask where that came from, I have been looking for just that indi.
